Chaos Bolt LoS and LoE

Hello,

I have a question regarding the Sorceror at will Chaos Bolt.

When determining secondary targets for the 'rolled an even' effect, must they be within Line of Sight and/or Line of Effect to the Sorcerer herself, or must they only be within LOS/LOE of the last target targeted by the Chaos Bolt?

Sorcerer casts CB on Monster A.
Rolls Even
Bounces to Monster B.
Rolls Even
Bounces to Monster C.

Monster A is within LoS/LoE to the Sorceror.
Monster B is 4 squares lateral from Monster A, and is also within LoS/LoE.
Monster C is 4 squares verticle to Monster B, around a corner hidden outside of LoS and LoE from the Sorcerer due to a wall.

Is Monster C able to be targeted by the spell?

Chaos Bolt is a Ranged attack, and without any exceptionary text, so the point of origin is always from the caster. LoS is not necessary; it only determines concealment. Line of Effect, however, does, and so you'd determine cover normally.

So if the point of origin must be the caster, does the Range 10 limitation then also apply?

Yes. That's the usual rule.

In addition, two targets cannot be more than 5 squares away from each other.
