The old CB used to let me copy and paste a text only version of my characters. This was great so I could update the wiki I use with my character, but I don't see this on the new CB. Is there a feature that does this?
It's not a sacrifice of being an online app, it's a sacrifice to bad design. As implemented, character sheets are basically big images. That's why you can't copy/paste. Wizards didn't have to do this, there's no such limitation imposed by Silverlight, but they did it anyway, and so I have to think it's on purpose. To keep you from copy/pasting for whatever nefarious purposes they think you're going to use it for I guess.AFAICT, no. Silverlight doesn't seem to allow this. Just one more feature sacrificed on the alter of online application.

Interesting. Last time this subject came up, I seem to remember people saying that Silverlight basically prints using images. (I.e., the limitation was a Silverlight issue.)It's not a sacrifice of being an online app, it's a sacrifice to bad design. As implemented, character sheets are basically big images. I don't know about printing. But I know you can copy/paste in the Silverlight API. According to a programmer colleague of mine (I'm not a MS programmer), beginning with Silverlight 4.x, you (the programmer) can access and offer up the clipboard object.Interesting.
