Character Concepts - Kung Fu Panda

Adventurer
My son challenged me to make a concept for his younger brother; and they both agreed on Po from Kung Fu Panda. So, I made him and I'll post him today, pushing Indiana Jones back for next week on my list. Anyway, if you have a younger kid out there who wants to play such a character, this is a concept for you :).

If anybody else has a suggestion, please do post your thoughts or builds; helps keep the thread constructive.

Po uses the DMG2 rules for inherent bonuses. His Dragon Scroll is a ki focus, and his Natural Padding counts as starweave armor.

I get, "Why dwarf?" because of the stocky roundness thing...but just out of curiosity, why not a Shifter for the fuzzy?

Mostly because shifters are bigger on combat stuff. Po's more of a defensive guy, only really fighting when he has to. I stacked him on the defensive end and the fighting fell into line on its own :). I also, personally, more commonly associate shifters with thinner and more rabid appearance. If I did Tigress from the same movie, I'd make her a shifter (razor claw) to differentiate.

hehe, just hadn't gotten around to posting one yet. I could post up to about 16 new ones right now, but I don't want to inundate the boards with it and lose focus. I'd like to start seeing more feedback and/or other suggested builds on these characters too, so having a whole lot at once would be counterproductive to that goal.

Ring the golden bell is the closest I could find for that maneuver. He kinda used it at the end of the encounter, so it knocked tai lung out rather than just dazing him. Could probably find something more suited (stunning fist for example or quivering palm) at the 29th level. Monk's don't get that many grapple techniques yet (maybe in Psionic power? :)).
