Loretober 18: Innovation
The establishment of gear magic as a legitimate branch of arcania, rather than merely a form of occultism, allowed the development of practical pocket watches. The dwarven witch Alice von Zwilligeisen established the theory, and her brother Bolo, a master clockmaker, put her theory into practice.

Today, the 'Tau' pocket watches of von Zilligeisen retain their reputation for being accurate, robust, expensive, and highly popular among wizards and other spell-casters.

THE IMPERIAL CONVENTION OF THE FUTURE

Twenty years ago, Saint Isabella the Sovereign created the Empire of Admas. Each year since, Admas has been the host of the Imperial Festival of the Future, a convention where inventors, arcanists, and creative thinkers from all over the empire come together to share their latest creations. The festival is held on the fairgrounds of the city Diasello, the birthplace of the Empress-Saint. Secret representatives of the Empress wander the convention, selecting the best and brightest minds to be given funding from the Empire and occasionally even a position in the Empress’s council.

Loretober 18: Biome
The biome of the Three-Season Forests on the Eastern and Western Caps of the world have some subtle but important differences from the Temperate Forest biome of the Old World landmass. The most obvious difference is the "Leaf Storm" dividing the end of Autumn from the beginning of Spring.

The broadleaf trees of the Three-Season Forests are mostly maples and oaks, but also include ashes, beeches, and others. They are all closely related to but different from the species found in Old World Temperate Forests. Instead of quietly moldering after being shed in late fall, the leaves of Three-Season trees form swarms, charged with the negative energies of the Undead, but with their physical substance composed of dead plant matter, rather than the animal remains of "typical" or "ordinary" Undead.

During the last week or so of each year, these undead swarms of dead leaves howl through the Three-Season forest, carried by high winds punctuated with an occasional thunderstorm. Undeterred by the overcast daylight of late fall, they prey primarily on cold-blooded creatures, particularly insects. However, birds, rodents, and the occasional larger mammal have also fallen victim to the Leaf Storms.

The dawn of the new year puts these plant-kingdom undead to rest, as the first signs of Spring begin to show.

THE WILLOW OF CLOUDSGATE

Before the Final Hour, a massive metropolis floated high above the Barrows. This city had its own extradimensional realm of gardens and farmland called Lusgreine which was founded by a powerful archdruid named Willow. When the Final Hour brought the Land Above crashing down into the Barrows, the borders of Lusgreine shattered in a chasm in the crags of the desert, forming a sunken ruin of overgrowth known as Cloudsgate. The area is filled with relics from the time before ruin and has become a popular site for treasure hunters, but the many distorted and powerful beasts that live here make Cloudsgate a deadly environment to wander into.

In the near millennium since the Final Hour, none have been able to confirm the death of Willow. Many of the local Harvesters believe them to be either hiding or trapped within the Tomb of Saints, a massive dungeon that few adventurers have been able to enter, and none have been able to exit.

19.) Biome
In addition to the Anhydruts (Sandstorm pg.191-192) that ensure that the deserts stay dry, there are inevitables that maintain other biomes as well:

PLUTOTRONS replenish (and remove or relocate as appropriate) the mineral wealth of underground, thus ensuring that resources don't run out, while also fixing the prices of those resources to make sure that they remain at their standard value. They also maintain the cavern walls and ceilings to ensure that the underdark doesn't collapse in on itself

VERDRUTS ensure that plant and animal populations remain stable in the forest. 3d-printing new animals and plants when there are too few, and hunting and hewing when there are too many. They also prevent random fires and do prescribed burns; the prescribed burns will not be delayed for the sake of people who have wandered into the area

Loretober 20: Occupation
"Manacle Maker" (or "Shackle Smith") is an established occupation, with reports indicating it to be better known here than in the various otherworlds, even if not actually more common.

Before the founding of Great Amphora, and in the early days of the Amphorian Empire, Ylide was reputed to have the best manacle makers, at least in the western half of the Old World. Later, the city of Resot was known for having the best manacle makers, despite it being (then) little more than a provincial town of the Amphorian Empire.

After Great Amphora became Broken Amphora, Resot retained its status as providing the best manacles, and "Manacles of Resot" retain a cachet even today, despite the majority view that the best manacles now come from the forges of the Foggy Mountains (aka Nebelbergheim).

The master manacle makers in the lands of the Eastern Cap produce manacles and shackles in fancy, almost artistic, patterns. The more ordinary manacles of the Far East are much less known in the Old World, as they are seldom exported, while the exotic "Manacles of the Orient" are favored by some for particularly valuable or important captives.

20.) Occupation

In the city of Dis in Hell there are no true scofflaws, none that live very long at any rate, however there is an official cadre of pickpockets, alcoholic vagrants, muggers, graffiti artists, and flashers employed by the city specifically for the purpose of pissing people off

EDIT:

20.) Occupation

The Cyst- The cyst is a set of two warring cities set inside of each other like Russian nesting dolls. The Old City is a walled, fortified, domed, and self-sustaining enclave fully surrounded by the New City, whom it has been at war with for over a century. The New City started out as a military encampment of troops besieging the Old City, but as the days and weeks of the siege ground on into months and years it grew to become a settlement in its own right

21.) Sport

Many of the more animal-like humanoids choose to omit the terrier in rat baiting matches and instead don a pair of goggles and jump into the pit themselves
