Kathak weighs 33 lbs 6 oz. Suprisingly he has no problems with his weight.
OOC: Are we using the convention that a PC may spend no more than half his wealth on a single item? I think it would be more fun.

Kathak working with his companions, has managed to defeat 13 opponents of CR 1 and has now reached 2nd level. (before going on to become a warmage as predicted earlier)

Karthak lost his right hand in a vicious custody battle two years ago. It must be said that this adds a certain uncanny flair to his bear hugs.

And to his signature on legal documents.
This doesn't make any sense based on the mentions of two-handed weapons earlier (now if you did it after he reached second level, it would be fine)...

Darn. There goes my theory that being a bit "stumpy" has no mechanical effect. ;>

Kathak's life -Taking the Initiative

Initiative modifier: +3

Kathak has been plagued by the thoughtless cruelties of malevolent entities from beyond mortal ken for years. He is therefore quite motivated to seize the initiative, so that he might better control his destiny. He once was cruelly convinced, for over half a day, that a soulless abomination from the darkest pits of Hell, banished for excessive cruelty, had stolen his hand. The Shamans only laughed when he brought his predicament before them. Fortunately, the Druids did not abandon him; it so happened that the Goliaths of an allied tribe had need of a certain magic item, Boots of Righteousness, which required the throat of just such an abomination in the construction process.

The abomination was handily defeated by the Druids, its throat torn out, and its tattered remaining essence bound to a copper coin which was dropped into the river Styx, never to be seen again. All was made right.

Kathak is absolutely convinced that taking the initiative of asking for Druidic aid was key to the "return" of his hand (actually the loss of the abomination-inspired delusion that his hand was missing, to be precise), and is looking avidly for apt opportunities to return their crucial assistance.

Kathak's hair (although, sadly, not on his bald head) is a healthy, lustrous brown. Slightly curly when allowed to grow out, soft and downy to the touch, Kathak's hair is never unmanageable or awry.
