Character Development: CotCT

For redundancy's sake, I'll say that I've updated my character's history. While it's much longer, I feel that everything in it is necessary to explain how my character fits in with the world she lives in.

Thats cool hopefully the GM likes it and uses it. I know it sucks when you come up with a great back story with plot hooks only to have the GM ignore it.

Nice post whiewolve202. Your character sounds like she is ready for CotCT. The shingle runner is a cool feat. The rogue in my group took it also. Will come in handy around Korvosa trust me.

I started this ad path myself not long ago with a ranger. His family was killed and Lamm knows by who and why. We killed him before I could ask any questions :( Looks like our cleric of Phrasma might have an in at the grey! Maybe its time to speak with the dead?

Anyways have fun stop by from time to time and give an update!

p.s. I am new around here. Is this the right forum for talking about ad paths, character builds, and such?

I'm currently running CotCT for my group and it sounds like that back story will work very well in the adventure path. In my own campaign I didn't want to force people to use the Traits from the Path, but I made sure that they gave a reason why they might know, and be looking for, Gaedren.

Our first session was somewhat rushed in execution because much of the time was spent on simply figuring out our characters stats. Once I found there was a Player's Guide, I leaped at the opportunity to flesh out the character as much as possible and the Traits greatly helped in coming up with Lyra's backstory as it is now.

Plus the +2 to Perform checks isn't that bad. Even if it doesn't have much impact mechanically, it adds depth to the character as one who is used to having to sing lullabyes or tell bed-time stories.

Hopefully there will be a chance to actually put that +9 to use, but if not... Oh well.

In any case, I'll try to write up a session log for last time, as well as make sure to remember what happens this Friday. Once done, I'll likely post them up in a seperate thread.

I am currently running a cleric of Erastil in CotCT here at EnWorld. The group had finished quite a bit before i arrived but I have had my share of adventure it is quite a great experience, so I hope you have fun ww202.

And to answer your question payn you can post PF builds here and the lik if you wish to get into a game you can try Talking the Talk and Living Pathfinder (up soon I hope).

Welcome both of you to EnWorld and have fun!
