Character Examples for my PC

Not sure if this is the right forum for this. If I was going to be running a high dexterity and charisma PC who was a rogue in class (but would not use or fit the term in practice)...

What fictional characters could I borrow from to flesh out his personality?

What could be his motivation for being with the group?

Zorro! Spike from cowboy bebop. Lloyd from tales of symphonia. I'm not a big anime watcher, but from what I have seen, the fast and agile prettyboy/charismatic loner is a well used character concept.


As for motivation? Money, Honor, Challenge, Feeling of Purpose, Boredom, Love and need to protect other party member, Command from superior, etc.

Although often considered a ranger of sorts, Robin Hood could also be a rogue. At least high dex/high cha personality wise if nothing else ...

Or any of the main pirates from Pirates of the Caribbean (Johnny's Depps character, Orlando Bloom's character, Kira Knightly's character, etc - sure, they had some fighter too, but mainly roguish)
