Infinite Monkey@Work said:Alright then. lets change the topic of this thread slightly.
Help me build a cool-but-easy-to-use Archer character, using four(4) levels of Fighter.
Six(?) feats, so maybe...
Point blank shot
Fast shot
Weapon focus(longbow)
Weapon specialisation(longbow)
erm...
I think I won't give her shot on the run (a) because it uses up several feats to get there and (b) the character would be trained in archery as a noble pass time, so shooting while moiving probably isn't in her immediate repertiore
Is this a 6th level human character? Than 6 feats is right. With six feats, the key would still be to stay away from much mechanic juggering around. Here's a proposal...shuffle...shuffle, let me get my books out...
1. Weapon Focus (Longbow)
2. Point Blank Shot
3. Mounted Archery (To me, this fits well with your noble idea)
4. Wapon Specialization (Longbow)
5. Improved Initiative (help her get those shots in first)
6. Rapid Shot
This assumed you're willing to put her on a horse, or the party is riding around the countryside as compared to crawling through a dungeon, but I did not get that impression from your post.
BTW, is this the same InfiniteMonkey who wrote the Randomizer (I think I got the name right)? If so , kudos to you. It's a very attracive idea and a nice simple and clean implemenation.
I am torn on whether to assume that there could only be one InfiniteMonkey, when obviously, there could be an Infinite number...
