Truth be told, at least a basic grounding in physics can be really handy when it comes to designing settings, adventures, and the like.and I see no reason to pretend I do in order to play a game of make believe.

You don't know what you're talking about and you don't have the maturity to admit it.
Just to chime in. @Filthy Lucre is right and you are not correct here. Metaphysical does not mean not physical.your not giving up here are you? You really want to argue over word choice do it with someone else.
it's not physical it's metaphysical I would difine metaphysical as an idea, doctrine, or posited reality outside of human sense perception
the card doesn't exist, no one is throwing it, it is a reality outside of human sense... no one is throwing a card
Before the recent renaming it was Facebookphysical anyway. Now it's just confusing.Metaphysical does not mean not physical.
And yet the third definition on Mirriam Webster says "highly abstract or abstruse see:Theoretical" which seems to fit the idea @HammerMan was trying to get across.Just to chime in. @Filthy Lucre is right and you are not correct here. Metaphysical does not mean not physical.
A red card isn't highly abstract, abtruse or theoretical, either. It's a defined social tool with rules. Metaphysical refers to more abstract philosophical and nature-of-reality stuff, like the origin of existence, time, causality, identity, the nature of consciousness, the relation of mind and matter, etc. It's the philosophy of (hopefully) rational and logical inquiry into the nature of reality itself. The Ship of Theseus, for example, is a metaphysical thought experiment about identity. And yet the third definition on Mirriam Webster says "highly abstract or abstruse see:Theoretical" which seems to fit the idea @HammerMan was trying to get across.
no because he isn't , and I am sick of people bulling (me and others) into changing words when there is no need to. alsoJust to chime in. @Filthy Lucre is right and you are not correct here. Metaphysical does not mean not physical.

sigh... then why is theoretical or an idea, doctrine, or posited reality outside of human sense perception possible usage if when I use it to describe somethingg that once was physical but now is being used as a posited reality outside of human sense perception it called wrong?A red card isn't highly abstract, abtruse or theoretical, either.
