Background: Adren's first memories are of the small hamlet of Seilorkan deep in the heart of the Ashwood where he was told his people fled to after the destruction of their homes in another plane.
Although possesed of the fiery mind abilities common to his kind, growing up among the elves of the Ridgewood allowed him to develop his affinity with the forest. At first it started with a desire to explore the hidden depths of the lush forest, but after a while he realised that he felt much more at ease among the leves and the forest than the more studious environemnet fostered by his people.
By the time he reached mid-adolescence, he has splitting his time almost equally between his elven friends and his Kureshim friends in the village, learning both how to harness the powers granted by blood and those granted by heart.
Spurred on by the death of some of his Kureshim friends at the claws of a displacer beast, Adren was overcome by wanderlust and a desire to merely be "somewhere else". Briefly sayng his farewells to his parents and to his friends (Kureshim and Elven), Adren gathered his elven-crafted longbow and other gear and set off for the heart of the Alderman duchy....
