Background:

Kerrick was the youngest son of a fairly successful farmer. He spent most of his young life toiling away with his family and listening to his grandfathers tails from his days as an adventurer.
Before passing on his grandfather tought him much of the ways of the world and the power of the mind. Kerrick excelled at these teaching and came to resent the simple farmers life. As soon as the oppertunity presented itself he ran off to make his amrk on the world and have adventures of his own. For a while he went home periodicaly, but is parents dissapointment was obvios. They vists started becomeing less and less frequent. It has now been 2 years since he was last on the farm, the call of the wanderer is just to strong for kerrick to ignore.

Desription:

Kerrick is about 6'1" and wieghs around 190 lbs. His blond hair is cropped short and thends to be somewhat mussed and spiky. His eyes are blue/ green. Kerrick keeps himself clean shaven.

He prefers earth tones in his clothing and has a simple steel spike threw each ear, he wares no other jewelery. His psicrytal, Virch as he likes to call it, is usally tied to a simple leather thong around his neck.

Background:
When Marina grew up, her family was very poor. When she was thirteen years of age, her town was raided by slave traders. Many people were captured, and the others were killed. Marina was captured and moved with the other slaves to a small hidden building. For years, she was kept in a tightly packed room with many people. Though she had never attended church, a cleric of Pelor named Patrick had taken a liking to her. He taught her about religion and battle techniques. He even gave to her with his own trusted Mace and Armor, that he had used well in battle. One rainy and gloomy day, a man in a cloak showed up. He glanced at Marina and said to the slave trader "Release these people." The slave traders laughed and drew swords and fought the old man. The man threw back his cloak and drew a glittering sword of his own. He held back the the traders, and the captives fled quickly. She thanked the man and quickly ran to the closest place she could find. That was a small tavern in a nearby town.

Notes:
Because of Marina's background, her only current possessions are the clothes she wears, a masterwork Heavy Mace, and masterwork Studded Leather, and a few minor items that she has kept over the years, she carries no gold or other items.

Background: Adren's first memories are of the small hamlet of Seilorkan deep in the heart of the Ashwood where he was told his people fled to after the destruction of their homes in another plane.

Although possesed of the fiery mind abilities common to his kind, growing up among the elves of the Ridgewood allowed him to develop his affinity with the forest. At first it started with a desire to explore the hidden depths of the lush forest, but after a while he realised that he felt much more at ease among the leves and the forest than the more studious environemnet fostered by his people.

By the time he reached mid-adolescence, he has splitting his time almost equally between his elven friends and his Kureshim friends in the village, learning both how to harness the powers granted by blood and those granted by heart.

Spurred on by the death of some of his Kureshim friends at the claws of a displacer beast, Adren was overcome by wanderlust and a desire to merely be "somewhere else". Briefly sayng his farewells to his parents and to his friends (Kureshim and Elven), Adren gathered his elven-crafted longbow and other gear and set off for the heart of the Alderman duchy....

Shouldn't this guys hit points be 10+3 +6CON for 19 hp? Why hasn't he got his full 10hp at first ranger level?

Gholog, son of Vahrik Kinslayer, studied under his father's cunning tutelage, learning the orc's subtle combat strategies. Unlike his father, Gholog isn't wealthy but wants to follow in his father's path of an adventurer and an explorer. Because of his family's relative wealth and power, Gholog spent years among the humans and blends in fairly well, exhibiting few of the "boorish" stereotypes often attributed to his people.

As a family trait, Gholog's yellowish skin is deeply tanned. He has atypical tusks, both jutting up from his wide lower jaw, leading some to suspect he may have hobgoblin or other ancestry. He is almost completely bald, save for a jet black queue braided waist-length down his back.

Vahrik's monastery in the mountains north of the Alderman duchy was a fantastic place for Gholag to grow up, but he felt the need to seek his own wisdom in the world. The life of a monk wasn't suited to him and he packed a few belongings and traveled south to see how he fared in more civilized straits. Perhaps a ruler like Gregor Anvar will have enough psions in his desmense to make learning the mental arts more promising than in the cloister of a monastery.
