There's nothing wrong with the chat site, but the program and registration is not the same as for the message boards. If you have not done so already you will need to go
register a chat screen name before you can
login to chat.
When you first log in, you will appear in The Lobby. From there you can go to Live to chat about RPGs, TCG to see if anyone is there to talk about TCGs, Gaming if you want to see if there is anyone playing more structured (diced) RPGs or ISRP to find our ISRP rooms. Type /go followed by the exit (room) name to move into that room. Each room has different exits, but the chat will tell you what's avaliable when you enter the room, eg log in.
It's a good idea to check out the
ISRP websites if you're interested in playing, especially the
How to get started page which has tips on a few commands.
If you need help, ask. Especially a WizO name. You can use /users to find out what names are logged on at the time, and typing in /tell followed by the username and the message you want to sent will let you chat directly to that person without it going to the room. This is handy if you're in an ISRP setting room where you're not allowed to chat directly to the room if it's not part of the game (In character), or if the person you want to chat to is in another room.
