Cheapest place to purchase a box of D&D Miniatures?

Anyone know where to look to purchase a box of D&D miniatures for a discount? I purchased from Potomac Distribution in the past for CCG cards at large discount, but they don't appear to be carrying the D&D minis line. Any help would be appreciated.

If you mean the new Pre-painted D&D Miniatures line, they will not be released until the end of September.

For the old chainmail miniatures you might want to try SVGames, though I'm not sure if they still carry them.

Amazon has the Starter Pack for 13.99. I pre-ordered 2, so I get free shipping. I haven't seen the Expansion Pack anywhere for less than 8.99.

Amazon also lists the available data as Sept 8.

Here are the ISBNs, I find it much easier to search by ISBN
Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures Entry Pack
078693316X

Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures Harbinger Expansion Pack
0786933151

Best deal I've found on miniatures in general is FRP Games.

This review of the new D&D miniature line has FRP's prices at the beginning of the review.

For Chainmail, SVGames is probably your best bet other than Ebay. If you're looking for the actual D&D brand that was issued right after 3.0 came out, they are tougher to find just because many retailers have put them in the same lump as Chainmail (aka "Discontinued, make me a deal and get them off my shelf so I can buy more Mage Knight").

I'm looking for the new repainted minis. I sent an email to Potomac Distribution (potomacdist.com) and they said they will carry them, but not as a pre-order, and that they don't have pricing yet.

Thanks for the responses.

Once they come out, I'm sure Ebay will have several retailers selling boxed sets for even less than normal discounts, usually in packs of 6 or more. (They do the same with Mage Knight and CCGs)

Good point - I'll check them out. Last time I was in the position to purchase a boxed set, it was for B5CCG cards and I don't believe Ebay was nearly the size it is now.
