OK. Thanks for sharing.

It feels more like a homebrew/setting (you can find an older one of mine if you poke around in my sig, and i have to admit, I did use to plug it) with a mass combat system in the middle then a fan-zine.

I like the old school feel, though I am not sure that most 4E fans will.

And a 20+ level giant skunk?

Hey thanks for checking it out! Yeah, I wanted a 'theme' for the zine to help frame the material, so it is based around what I hope becomes a shared world that players can create together. I appreciate that you like the old-school feel; that is a big part of what my blog centers around, as I love 4e and classic editions. The 20+ level skunk and other creatures are native to an area of the world where primal power strengthens everything born there, so you have creatures that haven't been a threat since level one or so (such as Giant Rats) become dangerous again. I wanted to try to suppport high-level play in unique ways. So you have innocuous creatures becoming Epic tier threats, and firearms as well in other parts of the world.

I appreciate you checking it out! As you mentioned that you do some design yourself, I would love for you to submit something! The next-to-last page has info on it!

Haven't looked at teh zine yet, but in all fairness, IMC I have the MEGALOSQUIRREL!!! It's a level 20 skirmisher, gargantuan, with the ability to stuff you in its cheek and save you for later.

EDIT: And 3e had Legendary Animals, which were normal sized but far tougher than the dire version.

BTW you can attach the pdf to your post- it's under "Manage Attachments".

(Some people don't use Google docs for one reason or another.)

Okay, I'm barely into it, but one thing came up already that raised a question that I thought were worth asking:

Can fighters, wardens, paladins, etc research new powers? (My inclination is a hearty YES!)

So far, I like what I've read, though I wouldn't use all of it!
