I like that it gets across vital details about each of the 16 Planes, quickly. A bit more new player friendly than a more in-setting esoteric presentation. I think it is, in fact, trying to look like a video game-y presentation for the target audience consumption and understanding.
Yeah, would have been cool if one or more of them had the mountains towards the center, and the river pouring off the outside of the ringElysium,Beastlands, and Arborea look too samey and Mount Celestia should the silver sea surrounding it, land.
I’ll take Eberron’s planes over the “great” wheel any day if the week! Each feels distinct and has a purpose (plus none are tied to the gods who are… elsewhere, if they exist at all).I mean, I think this looks better anyway...

Traditionally, most of the battles of the Blood War take place in the middle planes (Gehenna, Hades/The Grey Wastes, and Carceri). Hades is the home plane of the yugoloths/daemons, although most have moved over to Gehenna. Both they and the gehreleths/demodands of Carceri act as mercenaries in the war for either or both sides. How does the Abyss assault the Nine Hells (as they do in Avernus) if they are a few planes to the right?
Clearly this "map" is an oversimplification, right?
It's like some folding a piece of paper and sticking a pencil through it to explain time travel.
Isn't that one for wormholes? It's like some folding a piece of paper and sticking a pencil through it to explain time travel.

My first gut reaction is to say Dörfromantik?I'm trying to imagine it in Zelda or Halo or something else I see played and it doesn't really fit that mold for me? (Which video game would have graphics like that? I don't play any.)
It's a map of the outer planes which explains why the material plane, all of the inner planes, etc aren't shown because they're not an outer plane.Uhhh, where's the material plane?
