I was on the Chess Team in High School for 2 years. We made state both times.

Haven't played much since then.

I tried my hand at Chess when I was younger, it was all good until I hit high school - then life became a lemon. :\ No joke.

At least I have found my pace and peace.

Yeah, I love to play chess. I don't get to play much any more, though. I'm pretty good at it too (though every time I say that, I lose). I've been able to beat my dad since I was 12. I beat a local "chess master" (at a ren fair) a few years ago. I was on the chess team in elementary school. When I was in 4th and 5th grade, I would play chess all the time, every day after school with my friend George. But then, in the winter of my 5th grade year, I started gaming (1e DnD). And after that Chess was a rare pleasure.

I been playing chess since I was 6 years old! My older brother taught me to play chess!
