Don't sign up for my games if you have any intention of jumping ship. You sign up for one of my games, you play in one of my games. You jump ship on one of my games, you won't be playing in any game I run ever again. I, DM. ;)

Yes sir, Mark sir.
:)
So theoretically, if joe b. and I make the 2-day (or one long day) drive up to Chicago to game..... we might be interested in signing up with Mark's games....

Granted this is not official until Joe wakes up, and we have a company meeting over breakfast tacos.....

Seriously, how cool would it be to have even more out-of-state people coming in for a Gameday? Keep us posted - we'd all love to have you two show up!

PLUS breakfast tacos!

Thanks,
Matt

I know this is off-topic but,
If anyone is interested there is a message board dedicated strictly to Chicago and Chicago area gamers.
It's called Chicago Gamers and it's located at Chicago Gamers

I've thought about running a d20 modern game but I'm still not too sure about it. Anyone else up for running one?

Ok people, we are now a month away, lets start signing up, so we can begin to get a feel for the festivities. Things have been crazy in my life and I need a good game fix.

I want to play in one of mark's games and don't much care for vikings so sign me up for his afternoon games.

Anybody interested in a game of Boot Hill as a morning game?

Damn you Mark!

Make me get up early in the morning ras a frasan zam banner!
Put me down for the vikings game for the morning, and I will choose my 2nd slot game when more stuff has been posted.

(maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan Thats gonna suck.)

New Game Possibilities

Hey all.

I am thinking of runing a Babylon 5 game for the morning crowd. This is dependant on a few things.

a) The game actually hitting the shelves before the June game.
b) The game hitting the shelves with enough time to read the rules and conform my story idea to them before the June game.
c) That there's interest in playing the new D20 Babylon 5 game.

If there is no interest, I will and can come up with a few other ideas.

Sign me up for Mark's vikings game, dangit. I promise, no jumping ship. :)

I'm going to wait for a bit before committing to the afternoon slot, though. If nothing else gets offered, I'm in for Synnibar, but I just want to see.

What is Boot Hill? I might be interested

Boot Hill is a simple deadly spagetti western style game from the 70s. It has no skill system, just a quick easy combat system (I did create rules for drinking people under the table). I always though it was loads of fun.

I even have some of the original modules and it is always just as fun and easy to play evil gunslingers as white hat wearnig soft shoed sheriffs (there are not actually any classes, just gunslinger, and a home made brawler class).
