It's a testament to my wife that she was trying to brainstorm ways that I could still make Game Day ("Maybe if we drive home overnight..."), but logic and the priorities of being a responsible adult won out.

Everybody have fun and feel free to steal my rogue idea.

Perfectly understandable. Have fun and I may use your Rogue idea. We'll see what folks bring to the table in the next week or so. I've got to be a bit more liberal with the deadline since the boards took a tumble lately.

Here's my proposal for the expert. Olaf is the ship's surgeon, skilled in healing, herbalism, and alchemy. He has brewed some most wonderous, but foul tasting, curative potions. Though swearing he is trying to poison them while choking down his elixers of life, men under his care do seem to recover faster from injuries and disease. He has even managed to save many a limb.

Since you already signed up for Mark's game, I'm not sure it's cool to drop out. Normally, we do have a "no changing games" rule. On the other hand, you did just sign up, so I will leave it up to Mark if he is cool with it.

Cool. (It's the last-minute-switching-that-harpoons-games that irks me because it destroys the work done for weeks by DMs, not this early we-need-more-games-and-someone's-stepping-up switching.)
