Chicago Gameday - The Aftermath!!!!

Man, getting to see the latest in RPG design is sure going to distract me from my Synnibarr running. Do you all think I have enough time to work up a d20 conversion of Synnibarr? :)

Since they're both simple systems, I don't see why not! :p

Looks like I'm too late to sign up for Mark's games. . . lets see what else is open . . . hmm . . . well there's Breakfast. Sign me up for that please.

and, um . . . Played Whispering Woodwind, can't do that one . . . um the D20 Modern Game looks good, and that seems to be the only other morning game, sign me up for that if it's not too late, please.

Hmm.

Play Synnibar, or start to fill up Painfully's D&D game . . . I think I'll be a good boy and go sit at Painfully's table. Sign me up there please.

I suppose I should come to this board more often if I want to get a jump on things next time. It's just so threatening these days.

RPG Withdrawal

Anyone else here going through withdrawal while waiting for the 21st to come?
If it wasn't for EN World, id be popping polyhedrons.

I'm lucky enough to be playing in a nigh-weekly Buffy game, so I get a pretty good regular gaming fix.

These Gamedays, however, are something special to me. They're a great chance to catch up with people, try out something new or run that game you've always been dying to, and have an excuse to spend big cash at Games Plus. I'm always exhausted by the end, but I love every second of 'em, from the scheduled games to the pick-up games at the end.

In one week, we're gaming again.

I'm looking forward to playing a Viking Druid (I've never played a druid) and really looking forward to running Synnibarr. Maybe it's some of that hostage sympathy syndrome (or whatever it's called), but the more I work with the game, the more I like it.

how time flies....

Joe and I both realised that game day is a mere week away and soon we will make the 16 hour drive to Chicago to emerse ourselves in excellent deep dish pizza, museums, and gaming.

Trevalon-what e-mail address should we send our characters to?

Take care and we'll see you in a week,

-suzi

perhaps we should post what kind of characters you guys ARE making for me so we don't have a party of one single class... :)

Send them to the email in my profile... or I suppose if you're too lazy to look, then go for JShadow007@hotmail.com

Mark, I'm giving you a little heads up... trouble may be brewing for me later on saturday, and I MAY have to either pull out or leave rather early from your second slot game. I hate do to this at the last minute but... well it's a family thing. I'll keep you posted though. Nothing is for sure yet.

Suzi - It's great you two are making the treck - looking forward to meeting you both!

Trev - you know what Mark does with people who back out of his games, right? ;)

Later,
Matt
