I've gone ahead and removed Quickbeam's and Mark's events from the schedule.

This means that Barendd Nobeard, will have the morning open, and... Barendd Nobeard will have the afternoon open.

Coupled with my impending illness (sore throat, congestion, which has been getting worse all week), I'm going to take this as a sign from God that I should just stay home. I've already cancelled my Friday night CoC game, so now I can add the EN Gameday to my list of personal casualties. :(

Have fun, everyone!

William, let's hold off on scheduling a morning Menagerie. We actually have enough seats open in other events to accomodate everyone, and walk-ins are less frequent in the a.m. anyway.

No problem, although I can be available if the need arises.

Barendd, sorry that you can't make it. Hang in there.

Well well well. I think I'll go with some superhero/buffy action in the morning to fill the void left by cthulhu. That's 4a and b...i think...honestly i'm just too lazy to check, so i'll hope and pray that those are right. :D

While I know the anti-Michigan sentiment is somewhat a joke, I hope that everyone knows how disappointed JD and I truly are. I loathe jumping ship under any circumstances, but especially at such a late date when I'm running a game. Hopefully everyone still enjoys the raucous fun that is the Chicago Gameday!!

Barendd -- feel better buddy. I'll get to run Cthulhu at the next Gameday...if Grandmaster Buzz allows it after my disappearing act this time around.

Mark -- sorry about bailing. Take care, and I look forward to playing in your game at the next event...and seeing you at GenCon.

No doubt. At this point, either coming or going was bad for me, feeling like I was leaving someone in the lurch. Although I'm sure folks are understanding of me wanting to make sure that someone in the lurch wasn't my wife, I still feel bad about doing it at all, and it's not a good situation for me.

I'm already planning on making it up for the November (or whenever it ends up being exactly) Chicago gameday, though, and getting Kevin, Kent and myself (plus anyone else, of course!) into a Cthulhu game!

Barendd, what do you want me to do with your card coffins?

edit: Don't even say it.
Oh, put them back in stock for the masses to buy. I'll probably be down your way sometime later this month and I'll stop by and pick some up then. Thanks!

Hey, life gets in the way. Just try to make it to the next one, and bring lots of MI folk with you.

But go ahead and feel bad if you want. :p
