Chosen Epic Destiny question

Hmm, I'd say you guys are probably right, but just lemme offer a possible counter-argument.

The flavor text says that the "Divine Spark" in you is ignited... Divine Spark is part of your Chosen heritage. right?

Thoughts? Thanks.
Look up Demi-God. See what you get? Replace Divine Regeneration with the power you get from Chosen for worshiping your God. Done. You don't get anything else.

The other ability is for if you don't worship any Gods, and is identical to what Demi-God gets (including the name). Being a programmer, I assume they added a modifier after it to preclude any incorrect calls. Meaning if you don't worship any of those Gods, taking Demi-god is a 100% identical path. If this were not the case Chosen would basically be "Demi-God+1." Which would be dumb. So.

Also the flavor text should never, ever, be read as a rules reference.

Agreed about the flavor text - but sometimes, sometimes mind you, it does seem to show "intent" (and yeah, I know - thats a slippery slope)... :)

As in so many instances, I just wish they had inserted a few lines of text to clear things up. Why not have it clearly state that you can only choose 1 lv26 utility power from whatever Diety you are worshipping, and nothing else from the list? How hard would that have been. :)
