D&D General Chris just said why I hate wizard/fighter dynamic

Most of them can't, though. The vast majority can't. And it's okay that the fighter has trouble with some, just like the wizard doesn't really do well against creatures that have advantage on saves and resistance to magic damage.
most of them do.
Most monsters CR 11s in the MM have strong range attacks, spellcasting, invisibility, teleportation, or flight. A few have multiple of them.
Fliers, teleporters, invisbles, shooters, and casters are extremely difficult to handle in combat for noncasters if they don't have countermagic in items.

Therefore the majority of monsters require certain types of magic items for the fighter to battle them well.

If D&D fns don't want this they need more Goristos and fewer Dragons and Liches.

Which is why a lot can be done to correct the imbalance. The real issue is the direction you want to go:

You either decrease the power of casters to bring them down to the martial level, or elevate the martials to bring them up to the casters. Or, try to find a happy medium between the two extremes...

Personally, I am for bringing casters down, many others want to elevate martials.
Elevating marshall's helps so does having real world consequences for what you do. There's a reason most old mages in books end up in towers locked away from the world.

I'm an older player who has realized I play with other adults and don't need to be king nerd whose word shall not be questioned. And yes, tothe nut kicking.

Since we cant gut 9th level casters, and the fans of the current weak and lame non-casters wont let anyone bring those classes on par, the only viable option is a new class(es) for mythic heroes. Powered by Mythium or whatever the hell keyword the v-tude whiners need to hear to get over their objection to jumping 30 feet at will from level 1. It shouldn't be an issue if its better mechanically, as the BMX Bandit fans clearly don't have an issue with being weaker compared to wizards, bards, etc. Because there's no situation where those guys don't shine.

Mod Note:
If you want to continue in this conversation, we're going to need to you to turn down the snark and disdain about 7 notches. Or, you know, go find a discussion that doesn't turn you into... this guy.

It's not once. You are readying an attack action, so you get all 3 attacks.

Either way, it doesn't change that the fighter will do better than the casters.
You can only use Extra Attacks on your turn.

Not saying I agree with it, but thats the way its written, so only 1 "held" attack.

Edit: Apologies @Maxperson , I didnt see that it had already been mentioned.

That 11th level fighter also has more potential feats, sentinel would be quite useful in a fight vs the devil.
Why is the devil in melee range with the fighter unless the fighter is a dedicated archer or resistant to fire damage?

It has 60ft speed, flight, and 3 ranged attacks.

As has been noted, if the fighter is a battle master with the trip maneuver, there is a 30% chance per hit that the devil falls to the ground taking 15d6 falling damage(in addition to arrow damage) and allowing the fighter to get up on it the next round.

The fighter without any magic items does better against the devil than full casters.
