This = me. I'd have loved to see GR 4E books, maybe even to work on some, but I cannot fault Chris's reasoning. And of course, I'd much prefer to see him work on stuff he's psyched about.
Actually, I'd prefer it if Chris had become psyched about 4E...
That said, he shouldn't really base his commercial decisions based on my opinion (not that there's any risk...) because while I loved those first Freeport adventures, too much stuff have been decidedly Epic, or at least Paragon (using 4E terms).
Not to speak about M&M, of course...
What I liked about Freeport was the nice low-level Warhammerian Cthuloid blend; a blend I'm convinced can only thrive in a low-powered D&D environment (read "one where hit points come in short supply")...
So while I'm a fan of their products, I am not such a great Green Ronin customer. In fact, you could chalk me up as a personal Pramas fan (WFRPv2, Dragon Fist, the original Freeport trilogy...) rather than a Green Ronin regular!
So while I guess I'm disappointed he won't support my current choice of game (4E), I guess I won't play that forever...
