Christmas Purchases

I got a print copy of Osric, Swords and Wizardry Whitebox, and Swords and Wizardry Monsters Reloaded. My family and I were gaming on Christmas day. My daughter played an Elf and the three year old played a Dwarf with a big axe.

Had a blast with old school D&D! Osric had some of the best tables for setting mood, and generating a random dungeon. We were up and running in minutes.

I took some pics I took after the game session:

Lulu.com did an awesome job printing and binding. Osric looked like it game from an FLGS or Borders!

I picked up a couple of PDFs. I finally got Necromancer's City of Brass, and I also picked up Atomic Highway, which has been sitting in the #1 spot on RPGNow for several days now. Both are impressive.

I bought myself a case of the Legendary Evils Huge DDM set and the Savage Encounters DDM set since they were on a blowout sale at Miniature Market. Combined with a great AUD made for a real bargain.

I also bought some Hirst Arts molds at the start of December. I've been casting some up to create some 3D dungeons for my Shackled City AP game.

I was very happy to receive a bunch of older RPG material for Christmas from various family members:
Empire of the Petal Throne (1975 boxed set)
3 Planescape boxed sets: Planes of Law, Planes of Chaos, Planes of Conflict
Stonehell Dungeon
A bunch of Warhammer FRP 2nd edition supplements
Dungeon Alphabet
The Random Esoteric Creature Generator
The Tomb of Abysthor

All in all an awesome Christmas!

I could have sworn I posted this already. Oh well.

I (finally) got my paws on the hard copy of Ultimate Toolbox.

That it took this long is the only crappy thing about the book. It's incredibly useful, no matter your fantasy RPG of choice. Well, ok, there might be a few exceptions, come to think of it. . . but anyhow, it's great. :)

I got some nice RPG stuff for Christmas:
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (3rd Edition)
GameScience Dice
Shard RPG
Primal Power
Plane Below: Secrets of the Elemental Chaos
Draconomicon 2: Metallic Dragons

One of the best parts of Christmas was my wife and I each buying the other two sets of GameScience dice. She was really excited when they arrived, and loved using them to game with in the new year.
