Chuck Finale (spoilers)

Surprised no-one has brought this up yet.

To me, Chuck was never a big deal. It was entertaining enough that I kept watching but it wasn't something I looked forward to or pined for between episodes. It was just something I added to my list of shows to watch when it became available.

But I have to say that the finale of the series was one of the best done finals of any series that I've ever seen. All threads were tied up nicely, all characters got their happy endings and I was left content and teary with the wrap-up.

It may not have been the short-lived but intensely bright Firefly that scorched your eyeballs to watch even a moment of its brilliance, but it did manage to keep me warm and fuzzy for five seasons with a gentle, and persistent, glow.

Goodbye Chuck.

I agree. It was the greatest ending ever, but at least they didn't screw it up like most TV series finales end up doing.

It was a satisfying ending.

The second sentence explains the first, to me. It was a good finalé, but the show wasn't so great that I felt like making a thread. The first couple of seasons were stronger, imo, but the last three were good enough that I still enjoyed watching it. Everyone got pretty much what they wanted in the end, which was indeed nice.

It was an all right finale. Not quite up there with Buffy, for sure. I think the series ran its course and gradually ran out of ideas. I stopped watching in Season 4 and only caught the final two eps of the series.
