Dat be gud fer me to fights wif dat armurs...

Me likes da ones in da turn ment lets me use.

Kin you make dat skulls on it er sum tin?

Me like skullls and heads too...

Would you like me to add images of your victory's in the tournament? Perhaps we could see Jik'tu making the final killing blow and the looks on the opponents faces. Then your enemies can see their fate when they take arms against you.

Soon enough I believe we will be facing real enemies. This Lord we are to work for...Cepheus pauses thinking...He may wish us harm, we will be prepared when we face him. Perhaps we have Quozen nearby hiding to add a little surprise.

Quozen smiles. "Your prowess was quite well in force," he responds. "Your opponents will do well to fear you."

Somehow I am thinking Quozen is not one to be taken lightly either. Perhaps we should keep you close to us.

The doors open and a muscular young man enter the Inn. He looks aroudn,s earching for something. Joe stares at the newcomer for a moment and point him the notice. The newcomers looks at the sign and looks at Joe with some interrogation.

"My name, why should I..." he tells a bit confused, but Joe seems undisturbed by the reaction and still stare at the newcomers. "Arami, blacksmith" he tells and turns to teh table with an elf, a gnome and an Orc sitting at it. He moves toward them.

"Cepheus. I'm lucky to find you. It is Stonebender who told me I could find you here." The man sits down and hand a letter. "Stonebender would like you to go fetch a box. It is some material he needs for an object he needs to produce. I should have done it myself, but the blade I was working on broke. I'll have to waste the day to repair it. The steel I used seems to have spend too much time in the coal, and it now too fragile. I'll have to work out with some pur iron to give it some flexibility. Could you do that? Stonebender's told he ould pay an advance on your cotisation to the guild if you could do that. It would save him a day of work, and with the contest he is shot in time."

Yes, I can pick up this box for him. Where do I pick it up at?

[sblock= Velmont] What is Stonebender paying?[/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]BigB: For Cepheus to have his job, as described in the job system, you must pay 500 gp. If you can't, you must save 1/4 of your income into the shop cost, until you've paid the 500 gp. Stonebender offer you to pay some amount of that 500gp, but Arami havn't been precise on the exact amount yet.

Manzanita and others: Anyone is welcome to interact and join, this is will be a very short and sweet adventure, meant to give some action to some player of the Tournament who doesn't have a contest today. But my players have given me some surprises up to now, so who knows how it can end... but the final call will be to Cepheus. He is the one who has been given the mission.[/SBLOCK]

"A caravan should arrive today and take a break around noon at the crossroad of Fallon road and Latrim road, west of Orussus. Just follow Fallon's road until you meet the crossroad. It is 20 miles from Orussus I think. In a day, you should be able to come there and come back if you have some horses, but you should not waste too much time, the provider of master Stonebender doesn't like to wait too much. I've seen a place to rent horses just in front here."

Arami hands a small pouch. "That what the master has given me to cover your expenses. It should be more than you need." Cepheus looks at the pouch and sees in it 20 gold pieces.

And how much is Master Stonebender going to pay toward my guild fees?

OoC: Cepheus would like to have some others go along. After the incident at the archery contest he is looking over his back constantly.

Arami wait a moment. "I don't know, he didn't told me. But last time he asked me to fetch something for him from that man, he paid me a set of new tools, and prime one. So you could expect something in that range. Around fifty gold I should tells, plus anything you can spare from the money for your expense. But he didn't told exactly." tells the first apprentice.

As he is sitting at his table, he blonde haired fellow sings a song about a long lost love while strumming on his lute (1d20+6=26).

Taking his juice, Delan turns to approach the blond bard. As he speaks, Delan looks with equal measure at both the bard and instrument. "What a wonderful performance. Surely you enjoy both talent, and good tools." Delan then motions towards the lute. "May I examine it?"
