"I do not Oirhandir. I chose to leave my previous life rather suddenly and had very little to take with me. I might be able to procure one should the need arise. But a long road merely gives one more time to appreciate the trip" Kali adds with a smile

Oirhandir answered: "Well then, I guess we'll see who else wants to go. I had originally wanted just one or two companions, but now I think maybe three or four, or even five would be better. The last time I ventured that way, it was with a band of six guarding a caravan. We only brought three back, but that was because two ran off with their new lovers, and one stayed behind with his." The elf chuckled. "I, and my favored one, are more patient. As much as I long to see her again, I can stand to be apart for the few weeks it took for me to complete my obligation to the caravan master."

OOC: Actualy, only 3 came back. Sunny ran after Daphnie, Elise left with Valdor, and Fang stayed back under the care of Hellen

OoC: Post 162 edited to fit. Sheesh, if Ingus would have offered a fixed sum instead of per head, we'd have made out like bandits!
OOC: Muhaha! :p Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled recruiting. Fenris, you're all set to check into the Adventure Thread (Just don't make any post beyond the initial requested one). IC we'll move on when we get enough to start AND everyone accepted has made the first post.

Nirrassa of Clan Swiftclaw

The door of the Inn opens to a small feline-human mix. She says, "Joe, some of that, elven wine, no? It iss so purrfect."

She goes to an empty table and sits down, and pours the contents of her backpack. It looks like mostly junk to a normal person's eyes, but the lengths of string, shiny rocks, and multicolored marbles keeps her mind occupied.

Oirhandir looked over the newcomer. He had not seen one of her kind until the festival, and now here she was in the Red dragon. Were they spreading throughout the world? Or had it been just a twist of luck that he hadn't seen more of them?

One of his eyebrows lifted when she ordered - his favorite drink, no less. Hmm. Could she add something to a group traveling to Rheim? Best to ask...

"I am called Oirhandir", he announced as he approached. "I seek companions for a journey to Rheim." He regarded the cat-like stranger for a moment, as one might regard a newly-discovered trinket. "You wouldn't happen to sell anything, would you? Magical backpacks, fig drinks?..."[sblock=Adventure Hook]Check out post 153 of this thread if you're interested.[/sblock]

There is just one little problem. I already signed up for di Senzio's Tournament :(. It seemed like 1st level characters would have been limited in your adventure, so I decided not to join. So unless Velmont lets me get my money back, I'm stuck here for the time being.

[sblock=OoC: ]No problem. Just politely (or non-politely!) decline to Oirhandir in-character. He doesn't know who's doing what, just trying to find some traveling buds for the road trip.[/sblock]
