ooc: It was actually ability drain. supposedly, a single casting of Restoration heals it all, provided I can find a 7th level cleric. I understand higher level NPCs are rare, but not impossible to find.

"Hey!" says "Nodis is back, after some thorough undead ass kicking. How are things going over here?"
Oirhandir took note of the unusual display. It must have been some kind of magic...there was no storm outside.

"Things are will in Orussus, Nodis", came the elf's reply. "I've been searching for companions to accompany me to Rheim; would you like to make the trip?" "A mage of some sort", surmised the bard. Oirhandir realized that he didn't really know if he preferred to be accompanied by stout fighters, scholarly mages, devout priests, or fellow bards. Another bard would be nice. But he supposed, given the circumstances, that he couldn't be too choosy. Phyrah takes care of all travelers, no matter their vocation.[sblock=OoC: ]Is Nodis really 3' 4" tall? That looks like a typo...[/sblock]

OOC: At 138lbs, he'd have trouble rolling through the door. BTW, barring that, he's approved for my adventure assuming he's approved by the judges.

Nodis scratches his head. "I suppose I could" says. "I don´t particulary want to stay here, though I could miss an adventure or two while we´re travelling. Do you think we´ll find bandits? I hear a lot about adventurers fighting bandits."

"Now, that's an opening for a bard", thought Oirhandir. He warmed to the occasion.

"As a matter of fact, the last time I went down that way, I did encounter some bandits. Some of them didn't survive the encounter, and I bought the leader's chain shirt from my partners when we divided the spoils. I'm wearing it now." The elf stood so that his cloak parted to show the glittering chainmail beneath, in far finer condition than it was when Phineas still wore it.

"Truth be told, if I didn't expect to run into trouble, I'd just go by myself. There's safety in numbers, you know", he added with some emphasis.

A large half orc walks into the bar and proceeds up to the barkeep asking about bouncer employment. He looks like he's been in many a tussle, and in fact wears chain mail festooned with spikes.

Joe says from behind the friend, "Ho there stranger. Share you name so we may call you friend and serve you."

OOC: Inn rule, you need to announce your name when you come in.

OOC:Getting forgetful in my old age.

"Lupic needs work. Old bar not need him now. Been away too long on rescue. You need bouncer?" the orc says to the bartender.

"Goodness, what a brute", thought Oirhandir at the sight of the latest arrival. Still, he was far less bestial than Fang, and that had turned out well, hadn't it? He was looking for something to do, and he wasn't going to get hired here. "Greetings, Lupic", called the elf. "It seems they already have a bouncer here", he said while motioning toward Gort, hulking in the shadows by the door. "I'm looking for traveling companions for a trip to Rheim and back, would you be interested?" There, that did it. He'd gone from grudgingly traveling with half-orcs, to playing match-maker to a full-blooded orc, to actually seeking out a half-orc for companionship. Had he gone mad? They would have thought so back home. But if there was one thing the elf had learned in all his travels, it was the necessity of a certain...flexibility in managing one's affairs.

OOC: Lupic is approved for my Rheim. If you're happy with that party, you're welcome to set off once I get the initial posts. I'll make the first IC post then. Just let me know :)
