Kyle pushes it back to Joe "Please sir, it's part of my belief system. If I don't I am breaking my vows"

OOC: He has a vow of gluttony where 'spare' money must be spent on food and drink as soon as is possible.

"So, how long will it take us to get to these lizardmen warrens" he asks as he walks "We've got a horse and cart for the journey don't we?" the portly man asks plantively.

Kongu answers him, "No, no horse or cart. It's the better part of a day's walk, and once we get into the forest Zurd and the others like to gather food, so that slows us down. The first time we went, we camped overnight so that they could take their time hunting game and picking berries. You should see Zurd and Kol at that! I try to help out as I can but I need help from them figuring out what's edible -- I've always been a city girl myself, although I like the woods."

D20Dazza, feel free to read the adventure thread up to this point. You may assume that, during your day of rest, Kongu tells Kyle everything -- and, you'll notice (Perform check:18) she's quite a talented storyteller. Well, not everything, actually. She's not going to talk about how disfunctional the group dynamics were -- but Kyle will soon get to see that, so I'm not worried about D20Dazza getting OOC knowledge a bit in advance.

It looks like we're all ready to move back to that thread anyway...

Well, I can't take credit for the success in hunting if it were not for Kura and Kurg here <patting the dog roughly then absent mindedly looking around for a moment for something obviously missing> I am afraid I might have starved on several occasions. [/COLOR]

They...are special to me. At the realization he has said they he grows a little sullen all of the sudden and a tear wells in his eye.

He pushes back his chair.

Well, I suppose tomorrow will be an early day so best get some rest. I am going to take Kurg for a late walk along the waterfront if anyone wants to accompany us. They...I mean he really enjoys the smells of the city. I guess they are just so different from the wilds of our youth.

He stands and waits a moment to see if anyone stands to join him. Then takes off toward the door.

[sblock=admin stuff] Orsal, I assume we could have purchased what we needed for the trip so I'd like to get some more rations 12 in all. I'll make the adjustments to my sheet unless I hear something otherwise from you. I recommend we all buy some food - LOL, unless you want lizardman back on the menu.

The door opens, the sounds of a large crowd can be heard outside. the flow of people toward the Arena have raised these days. A human woman enter the Inn and the door shut, and the sounds of the crowd dissapear. She is small and her hairs are lovely decorated with a golden hairpin. "Too crowdy out there. Damned cousin for his genius idea. Merchant, no respect for the quality of life of his neighbour."

She nods at Joe. "Hi, Opale di Senzio, wizard for hire." she tells without much motivation and sits down. Her hands lay on the table and a small snake slither out of her shirt and go next to the cande and squeeze it gently. "Good idea Naga. Joe, a Lazy Day please.. seems appropriate." The naga suddenly raise his head and show his tongue a few times. Without even looking that way, Opale tells. "Hi Jack, I didn't saw you... You are just as stealthy as usual... but you should do something with your smell... not that you stink, simply it's the way Naga found you. How you find your sword?"

Jack sniffs at himself once or twice, and frowns at the snake. "Yeah, I'll get right on that... Hey Joe! Can I get a plate of red herring over here, please?"

"Don't know..." he replies. "I haven't exactly had time to test how it's anti-human magic works. But if you'd like, you can help me try that out."

Jack cracks a jokingly -- or so Opale hopes -- viscious grin over his mug of beer.

"Oh, I could test my new spells by the same times... have you ever been burn with acid yet?" ask Opale, smiling at Jack. "My cousin has finally done the Tournament he wanted, got his shop too. Just too bad I am stuck here during it. Too much people in town. Things seems calm in the Inn, only the tournement poster on the board."

"If you think that, you can always go around a take a crowd bath somewhere where is the tournament. Honestly, I find it fine to relax a bit. We didn't had much time lately to relax."
