Octavio comes down the stairs some time later, attired in his foppish garb, complete with a flowing cape and plumed hat. He is equipped with a rapier and he strums a banjo. "Ah, much better, though I swear I've strained muscles in places I didn't know I had muscles. Well, good night all, I'm off to the Winged Flute for the performance competition, If anyone would care to join me. Hopefully I won't have to rescue any damsels in distress until after the competition this time," he says with a grin. He then leaves the RDI.

Opale looks Octavio rushing to his room. "That's why I hate the tournement." she tells to Jack.

I heard that. :p

That's not a very nice thing to say, especially as you're running the silly thing. [/sblock]

“What’s up Joe?”

Joe points at the bulletin board.
Aiken walks up to the bulletin board and muses to himself a bit.

“A tournament, a bit to low on funds for that”

“The incidentals are looking for a healer, don’t really fit that bill”

“Hmmm Oirhandir is looking for some companions to travel to Rheim. Sounds interesting, I’ll see if he has room for another companion. See you around Joe!”
OOC: 2 of those weren't posted, but if you're looking to join an adventure, you can ask OOC in the adventure thread if they haven't left town yet. Most have, though Oirhandir's hasn't quite managed to yet. However, I'd probably recomend you wait till a new adventure comes along.

OOC: Thanks for the advice. I had just posted in the adventure thread but IC instead of OOC I hope it’s all right. I'm new at this and still trying to get the finer elements of the game.

OOC: No problem :) I said my piece in there, but I'm easy. We'll see what the other players in Rheim say.

The doors to the Red Dragon Inn open and a large half-orc steps through. He is dress in simple, loose clothing, much as a farmer might wear. He carries nothing in his hands. His black hair is closley shaved atop his head.

While the protruding teeth and sloping brow lay claim to his heritage, there may be some question as to his human side. His face and arms are masses of scars and old burn marks. His deformed mouth opens to speak. Though the lips hang at awkward angles dur to their abuse the voice that emanates from it, though deep and gutteral, speaks the common tongue with a surprisingly clear voice, free of the common half-orc lisp so many of his kind have. Additonally the word are intelligent and articulate.

"I have come seeking a man known as Joe, one who has opened his establishment for the safety and security of those who would seek a dangerous path in this world"

Joe of course calls the half-orc over saying "I'm Joe, now tells the tavern your name and somthing about you, then have a drink"

The half-orc pauses a moment then turns to face the tavern. "My name is Ru'shal. I have come from the distant northern mountains and I have come to walk the path that has been laid out for me. I seek challenges to my mind and body such that I may meet them and gauge my worthiness."
With his introduction finished Joe asks the newcomer what he would like.

"Just some water, bread and perhaps, if you have it some stew"

A young human man enters the bar. He has dark tan skin, a closely-cropped beard, and short black hair. The man is wearing mail and carries a greatsword across his back. Marring his armor, gray trousers, and dark gray cloak are orange-red stains. Smiling, steps into the common room.

"Hello. My name is Eskon Bharris. If anyone has a problem that requires the use of a sword, it would be an honor to help you."

Heading over to Joe, he requests an ale then scans the room for someone in need.

The door opens and a tall, wiry figure steps through it. Scarred and dusty, he carries a pack and an assortment of weapons, including a longspear which doubles as a staff. Moving towards the bar, he stops, turns and announces to the room at general, "Benedicite! The Shining One bless you! I am Eusebius, monk and priest of the Lord Hyrag, lately returned from a successful expedition to clear an infestation of foul undead from a mine not far here."

Turning to the bar he nods to Joe and then says, "I await my friend Rurik of the Axebender clan. Since I have some small skills in healing, if any are in need of such blessings of the Light, I am happy to offer them, free of charge. If, that is, Joe does not object."

Eusebius I am impressed. Vanquishing undeed is certainly a worthy cause and a test of your ability which have obviously done well as you are standing here before us.

"Thank you, although it is less a mark of my own prowess than of the blessings which the Light of Heaven has poured out upon me. That, and my good fortune in journeying with companions of fidelity and might."

NPC just passing throught

A man enter the room. He is wearing the usual traveler's outfit, in brown and green. The hood of his cloth cover his head. He walks to Joe's bar and asks a question, but Joe stay silent. He repeat his question and Joe turns his head. The man look follow's Joe's looks and see the inscription.

"Fine. My name is Trevan, sellsword." He then repeat his question to Joe. Joe points the stairs that lead to the rooms. The man follow the Innkeeper direction, leaving the common room.
