"Nurlan, Tenebrynn and Ashnar. That is a good starting team. Start to be use to travel with you guys." says Rinaldo. Joe arrives at that moment with a piece of meat and a glass of wine. Rinaldo quickly finish his wine and gives the empty glass to Joe "Thanks, Joe." Rinaldo puts the meat over his black eyes. "Aaaah! That's better. Ashnar have a good question here. What skill will be needed for that job? Eanos and..." he looks at Mordik "What are your skills and your experience... would be interesting to know what everyone can do. And Nurlan, if sir here isn't in a hurry, we can wait a bit and we might have the chance to see Charlarn soon. He was with us not long ago..."

Edgar Vossinger looks very pleased when Nurlan agrees to the mission.

"Oh, thank you so much. A crime has been committed you see. A very blantantly evil deed. You'll find no moral ambiguities to it. But we must hurry back. I've got a carriage outside. It can hold seven, including myself. I'll fill you in on all the details on the road. I just need to have the horses changed and our provisions refilled, then I'll be ready to go. We don't want the crime scene to grow cold."

"As for who you should bring with you, well, you'll want people you can trust, both with sensitive information, and at your side in a fight. A well-connected man such as yourself, Mr. Naibi, should be able to find some people. People who can feret out information would be most useful. 'Master Vossinger' would be fine." he finishes to Ashnar.

"I'll, er, be waiting outside." He stands, though doesn't leave yet.

OOC: Don't wait for Charlarn; he won't be coming.

"My skills tend to derive from my being an observer by nature," Eanos replies to Rinaldo's query. "I often notice what others don't, and I'm especially good at spotting liars."

Here the man shrugs. "On the matter of experience, in all truth I've not had a real chance to test my mettle since leaving my master, so I have only what that training gives me. I've been taught to avoid fights where possible, but I'm trained to use both the weapons I carry and the weapon that is my body if need be."

Nezrak Duskstar, Grey Elf Wizard 3

"Well, since there doesn't seem to be any more room in the carriage, I guess I'll have to stay here and wait for another job.", Nezrak says.

OOC: Well, that makes six, so it seems Nezrak didn't make it. Maybe next one...

"Are we all agreed then? Tenebrynn, Rinaldo, Mordik, you're all coming with me. Ashnar, Eanos, have you gotten the answers you need? If not, maybe Nezrak could come along too. I'm fine with that." With up to three people on the list whom he just met not an hour ago, Nurlan is completely ignoring Edgar's, er, Mr. Vossinger's advice about selecting people he trusts.

A very interesting wording... I wonder... Besides, if a crime has been commited, it should be punished.
"I am admittedly reluctant to act on such vague information, but if Rinaldo joins, so will I."

Eanos' face lights up. "If you're willing to have me along, I'm more than ready. I'll do my best to prove an asset."

"I don't want to do anything I would regret either." Rinaldo replies to Ashnar. "If it is an investigation, I think my contacts and Nurlan's skills will be more than helpfull. Ashnar and Tenebrynn know already about the city and have proven there skills too... To our two new companions, I want to be sure of one thing. Can you take care of your own? Teamwork is a key, but it some times happen that we had to rely on ourselves only. If you have any doubt on this, I suggest you to pull off. It's smell fishy, Ashnar seems to have the same feeling, and I just want to come back with the whole group standing on there feet, if you see what I mean."

Hmmm... we miss one tough reliable figther. Sara isn't here, nor there is Tor or Somac. Miss them both, and there knowledge of previous events could have been handy, at least not and hinderance... damn, my wife almost kill me because I've capture that highwayman and now I am going after I don't know what criminal... I hope she will have calm herself a bit.

"Hello, the Inn!" a male voice cries in a slight Medibarian accent.

A warrior dressed in leather and scale enters the Red Dragon Inn's front door. He is somewhat short (5'5), wiry and moderately armed (shortspear, morningstar and crossbow). His eyes are gold-specked shards of jade, sweeping across the common room with a look of curious wariness. He carries a spear in one hand and his helm in crook of his other arm.

He introduces himself shortly afterward, speaking in a voice that had culture and some small measure of pride ingrained in it. "I am Wilhelm Irontower, scion of the Noble House of Irontower and Priest of Ayratha, the Lady of the Gauntlet. A good day upon you all!" With the way he speaks, one gets the impression that he considers the adventurers in the inn to be comrades in arms.

Will gives the crowd a bow and a sure smile before heading toward the bar to speak to the Inn's owner. "You must be Joe. I have heard much of you, sir. Is it true that this Red Dragon Inn is a place where one can find adventure? I seek great glory for my Lady and my House."

Those who look closely upon Will see three pieces of symboliture that reveal much about his person. The square buckler upon his left forearm shows a dark tower upon a field of grey*. He also wears a silver medallion with a pouring crucible embossed upon it**. A signet ring hangs from a delicate silver neckchain. Upon it is a tower that shelters a tongue of flame.

With a glance over toward Eroin, hitherto the quitest member of the group assembled, he switches to the Elven language, saying "Your people are rather more peaceful than the goblins, no?"

Eroin is startled from her reverie. She had been sticking to her tried-and-true method of socialization: let the others do the talking. After fumbling with the proper words for a moment, she manages a reply in kind: M...most definitely. My people tend towards peacefulness, while the goblins live to murder and sow chaos. Evil little beasts..."

OOC: Actually, she didn't respond because I've had a nasty work schedule recently, and haven't been able to get to this until now... sorry...
