Gorefoot looks at all of the people crowding around and says, "Why don't we all just go and see this guy. He can pick who he wants, and the rest can be here to help others with trouble. Like a fire."

The gnome hops off his seat and heads over to the large half-orc, a large grin on his face.

"Lupic, is it? My name's Fenwick. You say you have experience bouncing in taverns, have you? You must be quite strong and skilled in combat. You're certainly impressive in stature! I'm looking for some aggressive enterprise myself. Perhaps we can work together. Someone as strong as you would be in high demand. Come, I'll buy you a drink. Do you smoke?"
"Sure, I'll take drink."
His eyes fell on the notice, and he took a moment to read it.

"Lupic, would you look at that! They are looking for experienced adventurers for an archaeological expedition. They'll pay us to adventure! Well, perhaps we aren't as well-traveled as they would like, but I would wager that there is some smaller errand that perhaps we would be able to help with.
"I have done adventure before. We save village from bandits. The hoorsuns. I beat down many bandits. But then I decided that maybe I had learned enough to go back to taverns. I think I still have more to learn, so back I come to here. This place always have adventure jobs I think."
Why, that's it! Mr. . . Kyle, is it? I would think it a good idea to take up this fair, fair lady's offer and accompany her and her fine companions on this journey. We might not yet be as skilled or as capable as these esteemed veterans, but we could likely serve as caretakers for them. We could man a home camp for the expedition, with good Lupic providing labor and protection, you serving as a medic, and I perparing alchemical formulae for their mission. My lady, you would receive a camp like no other, while we would gain the benefit of your tutelage. Oh, the things we could learn from such professionals as yourselves. . ."

Fenwick winks, and pulls out a small wood box, containing rolled papers.

"Cigars, anyone?"

"Nah, just Ale good. Must find work. Bouncing getting boring again. "

Semabin almost chokes on his Stormbrew as Gorefoot mentions having been killed and returned in a new body. In trying to avoid staring at the halfling...gnome...whatever, he takes a look at the jobs board. Reading it, he begins to laugh. "Experience? Well, I guess my experience wouldn't be very helpful. Finding an abduction victim that wasn't actually abducted, and hunting a criminal that had already been imprisoned propably won't make much of an impression, don't you think?"

A half-orc of short stature walks into the Inn and takes a look around. He is wearing simple clothes of a monk that have been clearly through the rigors of battle. Recalling the introduction that Joe demands of people, he thumbs his chest. "Rodimus," he says as a simple greeting.
He gives a nod to his traveling companions and, noticing the crowd around the board, moves to read the announcement. Scanning the notice, he looks at those gathered in the Red Dragon's common room. "Who going?" he says, pointing at the notice.

Percy grips Gorefoot's shoulder. "Yes. Gorefoot is right. Let's go see this Atterwood. He can pick who he wants to hire." She stands and slips both hands under Ishmael's arm. "You too, Noble Knight. I'm not going anywhere without you. You've already saved our lives lots of times. I'm sure your wound will heal."

Percy leaves with whomever else wants to go.

Gorefoot's wisdom and Percy's charms are too strong for even the stalwart Halfling to resist. He goes with her and the rest of their group.

Fenwick watches as the veterans file out of the room. As much as he wished that it would be a group to join. . . perhaps this was not the time. Ah, well.

"Lupic, my friend, perhaps we won't be able to take on this adventure, but there will be more. Your bouncing days will be over, and a new and exhilarating life stretches out ahead.

Kyle, it is good to meet up with someone who caters to the good life," Fenwick added, pointing out Kyle's holy symbol. "What say we three work together, form a partnership, and use each others' skills and talents to our communal benefit?" He pulled out a tinderbox for Kyle's cigar.

"In the meantime, we should have some stories. Lupic, you saved a village from bandits! That must have been fascinating! How did you do it?"
