Vanitri Duskrider, Human Gypsy

A man walks into the Inn, who, if not for the trimmed goatee, could easily be confused for a slightly bulky elf. His long flowing black hair drapes down to his shoulders, his long face is drawn and sharp, having a nearly elven quality to it. He is fairly lithe, and moves quite gracefully. His clothes are worn, but well cared for. With a soft gaze and a warm smile his eyes dart about, examining everyone in the inn.

The man waves to Joe "Greetings my good man. Tis been a while. Perhaps you have a package for me? It should have arived in my name, Vanitri."

"Sure, just got here this morning." Joe says, as he heads to the back, and returns with a moderate sized crate he easily hoists up onto the bar. Joe puts a room key on top "I take it you're staying here for a while?"

"Yes, indeed I am. Tis my home for the moment, as the mood suits me. Thank you Joe."

Vanitri takes the crate under one arm, and slips the room key in his pocket, before he heads up stairs.

Within a matter of minutes, he returns, with a smile and a spring in his step. "Now, Joe, how about a round for everyone?" he calls as he grabs an empty seat at an otherwise occupied table. "Can't let it get too calm 'round here."

A plot hook aproaches...

Baeron Raddanor, a young man demonstrating excellent and expensive taste in his attire, enters the inn and aproaches Joe. They begin conversing, and seem to be haggling a bit.

Vanitri politely tries to overhear what the Baron is talking with Joe about.

Baeron appears to be trying to convince Joe to lower his price. He's pointing out how the task he's recruiting for is short and low in risk, and indicating that he won't even be paying the adventurers who perform the task as much as Joe is requesting to advertise the job.

ooc: The haggling is likely to continue until a second judge sends me aproval on The Trindle Isle Market, an adventure for 2 to 4 1st level characters. ;)

Adventure Hook - The Trindle Isle Market

Baeron and Joe finish there negotiation.

Turning to the room in general, Baeron clears his throat and begins to speak.

"I am Baeron Raddanor, of the Raddanor familly. I've got a simple task for 2 brave humanoids willing to do some travelling. It shouldn't be all that dangerous, so I can only offer you 80 gold to split between you. If you prefer to travel in a larger group, that's your option, but the pay remains the same."

"The mission is fairly simple. I need someone to go to Trindle Isle and get some rare herbs that grow there. The financial details have allready been taken care of, so it's just a simple pick up and deliver job. The only complication is that the island itself is a bit lawless, which is why we want a team of two each of whom can at least pass for dangerous."

ooc: Accepting first level characters only on this one, since there are so many waiting for their first adventure for such a long time.

"Sorry Baeron, I think I'll pass. I'm sure you'll find someone to take care of ya though," Vanitri says.

OOC: Doh, too high a level. No biggie, Ros was interested in trying to keep the Murder group togeather

(OOC we might turn up tomorrow: I'm imposing on Ros a little, but I hit a flow and didin't want to spread it out.)

ooc: I would like that too, and for obvious reasons I can't DM an adventure with Ironwolf in it. Unless I'm mistaken though, there are some people around here that have been waiting for an adventure for quite some time...

Jeremiah realizes that a few of his new friends have slipped away, he walks into the back room and says, "I think I can pass for dangerous, and without expending my combat capabilities." He quicklly forms and unforms his short sword. "I think,"he continues, "a sword that comes out of thin air can appear slightly intimidating."

"Tis certaintly a neat trick, I'll give ya that." Vanitri says as he leans back and sips his drink.
