Thank you. Yes, this is my own picked name. I cannot remember the original. After my parents were slain, I saw no reason to continue with the old. I liked the sound of this name, and it stuck. I thank you for including me.

I do not have the power to spare to scribe scrolls. I am sorry.

"I too was bereaved," says Taelythenihel. "My mother died just over fifty years ago, my father somewhat earlier. I was born to them late in their lives. Though both lived out their full span of years, I am but 131."

Payne looks to Lokin and shakes her head. ``Just wandered in myself not too long ago. I've yet to hear of any potential employers. Think the rumors of our last adventure have reached the ears of the public yet?``

Lokin grimaces.

"I hope not. After Zurd tried to have us arrested, I'm worried that his next course of action will to try to stain our reputations. Nothing about him would surprise me anymore. With the death of his dogs and the discovery of his arcane ability, he became a bit unhinged. Despite Kol's bravado, we should be careful."

Lokin turns back towards the bar and takes a swallow of his ale.

"So...any of you against the three of us working again, if the circumstances work out?"

Kol scrunched up his face in mid drink as if his beer were suddenly bitter at the mention of the Half-Orc. "I say let the Dog yap all he wants. One day he will get his. It is the way of things. Until then we celebrate our hard earned gains."

"Things worked out well enough methinks. There is much merit in the idea. Add a healer to our bunch and we would be formidable."

Payne shakes her head at the mentioning of Zurd, sighing heavily before she brought her drink to her lips. She remained quiet for some time, contemplating the question posed by Lokin. Running her tongue over her teeth, the rogue nodded then responded. ``I've no problem with that. Of course.. we'll have to find some poor souls to work with us. Heh.``

Over the past few days, Tarag has been in and out of the inn. Busy with setting up his new business, and clearly (to judge by the scorch marks) hard at work at his forge, he nevertheless finds time to drop in every few hours, greeting Joe and the staff, nodding to the patrons he recognizes, always finding time for a dwarven ale or two.

And every time he comes in, he proclaims in a loud voice, "My name's Tarag, my clan's Durvinn, my god's Chennet', and if you want fine weapons and armor to save your life, then I'm your dwarf."

In a slightly lower voice he adds, "Or if you're in need of healing, come and speak to me, and I'll see what I can do."

"The patrons of this establishment grow weary with waiting," observes Taelythenihel. "The humans and dwarves drink too much, and I am tempted to join them. I would not be surprised to see the proverbial bar fight break out before much longer, if no gainful employment arises."
[sblock=OOC] Go on, let's do it, subdual attacks and non-lethal magic only. We can earn XP while we wait. :p Kidding? :uhoh: [/sblock]
