"I'm Tarag, son of Azagindulad. I'm a cleric of the god Chennet' and I'm a smith. You want anything made, you come and see me. I've just arrived but tomorrow I'll be finding a forge."
"Greetings Tarag, I am Saithnar. Welcome to the Red Dragon Inn. Perhaps after I earn a bit more coin, I shall come calling after your services sir."

Ruud perks up at that, , "If you need a mage to help out possibly, I would not mind collaborating. I am not much of a crafter myself, but I may be able to help in other ways."
"Ah, well, that is interesting! I've not yet reached the level of expertise to craft magical weapons ... but I will. And at that time I'm sure I would be very interested in such a collaboration."

"In the meantime, once I set up my storefront, I'll also be creating some scrolls of divine spells. Perhaps, if you like, I could sell some of your scrolls, too. Come by and see the place and we can talk about it."

"Saithnar!" Tarag nods in his direction.

"You'd be more than welcome. If it's fine weapons," - here the dwarf's hand moves to touch the handle of his morningstar - "or fine armour, then you'll find it at my forge. And if what you seek is not there, I'll make it for you. Come and see my wares and I promise you - you'll not be disappointed."

Ruud nods, "I will certain give that a thought once I'm able to raise some coin of my own to buy supplies."

OOC: Crud, now i've got to actually read the craft rules again. :) Please someone start a game! I needs me some xp and loot.

Lokin sips his newly delivered ale and speaks quietly to his old companions.

"So, how's the job market looking? Anything interesting at the moment?"

Joe the bartender just shakes his head as the newcomer walks in, he looks down at the bar and wipes it slowly. A barmaid glances worriedly at her boss and then shouts, "Hey, new guy! What be your name?"

"My name is Abdul Alhazred, and I am a wizard in search of a job." Overhearing Taelythenihel, he remarks "I can assure you, I am not an arrogant boor. I do not like arrogance, and as a result I do my best to excise it from my persona. However, I will admit I look a little..odd."

Abdul then approaches the bar and requests a dwarven stout, he having aquired a odd tastes from his "teenage" years. "My thanks to you, Joe."

Abdul goes over by Ruud and Taelythenihel. "I enjoy the company of fellow wizards. Would you be interested in including me in your venture?"

"I have seen stranger," remarks the female gray elf, "though your eye colour is indeed unusual. As is your name. Surely this is one you have taken for yourself, not the one given to you by your parents. As to our venture, we have none in the planning. I was recently rejected as a member of a travelling party, and since then I have seen no employment offered. We were discussing the possibility of scribing scrolls for sale. But I at least do not have the resources to do even that."

Elthic, more than a little bored after losing count of the number of mugs he's downed, has been eavesdropping on the "wizards three". After hearing the mention of scribing scrolls, he perks up. A little too much.

He slips on his seat and falls on the floor with a loud thud, spilling his drink on the floor.

"Damned seat is wobbly!" he grumbles. "Can't trust a human to make anything right. Ah, well... at least my mug didn't break. They have their priorities right, I suppose. Hey, JOE! Fix me up with another..."

A little wobbly on his feet, he stops to think for a moment. "Maybe not something quite as strong."

He totters back to his table, and looks around glumly, before sighing. "I'm going to be here for a long time, aren't I?" he grumbles.

Ruud smiles, "Sure, just as soon as we have one."
