Last time, on City Survivor:

Our two phallically associated cities found themselves under the knife (ouch!), but in the end it was the new kid on the block that was done in. Ptolus was crushed under the weight of its own campaign sourcebook, becoming the latest casualty.

With only five cities remaining- which one will emerge as the sole Survivor?

The contenders:

City of Brass: The fabled extraplanar home of the evil efreeti.
Freeport: Avast ye! This be the main port o' call for Green Ronin's d20 materials!
Greyhawk City: The Free City of Gygaxian origination.
Lankhmar: Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser (and not those two similar guys from Greyhawk novels) call this place home.
Sigil: Another city by a spire, though this one's a little more remote. The planar hub of the multiverse.

Gonna have to go with the City of Brass this time. Still unclear why it's even listed. Was it ever intended for general adventuring? Who's ever based a campaign there? If so why?

Oh, and everyone stay away from my beloved Sigil! Muh!

I figured it was a pretty well known name/city, if not necessarily a campaign based one. The City of Brass seemed to pretty well cross campaign settings from what I could tell (I knew it from AD&D originally, but then later saw it pop up in Mystara and only then came to realize it had RW origins).

I think it could be an interesting campaign setting, all the same- and am looking forward to the upcoming City of Brass release that's been mentioned here and there. (Though I'd probably divorce it from being so closely connected to the Plane of Fire and make it more of a multi-planar sort of realm.)

Al-Qadim had a City of Brass Box. Actually, it detailed all the Genies.

Several of my 2nd ed Planescape Games ended up on the City of Brass for a game or two.
