clarification on the OTD rules

Hey all, just wanted to clarify my earlier post. I understand the rules and I wasn't trying to incite a politcal discussion - my goal was more of a discussion on the merits of why people feel the need to own assault weapons. Sorry about that, I meant no ill will.

However, I understand that there is somewhat of a gray area here since other news topics are discussed, like the North Korea thread which could potentially be politcally-related as well. I guess I was just a little unsure of the "limits".

Anyway, if I'm unsure about whether or not I should post something or not, I'll refrain. Consider it a lesson learned on my part.

The word potential is the key there. The North Korea thread turned into a discussion on explosions and their visible effects, and had very little to do with actual politics.
