Ever since Intelligent Blademaster showed up, that's no longer the truth.

I believe Blademaster only works on basic melee attacks. Any Assault Swordmage is still going to want STR for his powers.

This isn't quite right. You've got the order of events, but Susie and Tim take ongoing damage if they're adjacent to you, not if they're adjacent to Ted.

Oh yeah, sorry. You're right. I guess I was more concerned about the order of things.

It does, but even so, there are not that many Str powers (even less useful ones, except for a few at low levels). You can easily build an Assault Swordmage without Str (a 13 would do, to meet Hide armor prof.)

More than that and you should probably be sure about what you're doing.
