All bonuses, no penalties? Any class would excel.

Lately I've been in the mood to roll up a human cleric, so let's go with that. But really, any class would be fine with those stats.

I’d go with a strength base, plate armor wearing Cleric like Life, Order, or War.

First off, LOVE THE AD&D stat order!!!

Second, there are many good choices (assuming 5E?), as others have said: Barbarian, Cleric, Druid, Paladin, Ranger, Monk, or even Fighter maybe.

Third, the classes which would do worse would be those who depend on the 13s and 12 primarily, such as: Bard, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard.

No, AD&D.

Although both were published in 1977, and Basic was available first, AD&D was "in the works" before Basic IIRC. I'll see if I can find the article where I read about it.
