Class Ideas V.2

Well if your looking to increase the size of your ban list then Artifacer would be a good choice. Bugiuler could also be a good fit for you. If you don't want to be ban play a fighter and just stick to hitting stuff with a sword, no tripping, no suddering, just a sword.

Maybe find a dm who doesn't dictate that you can't play your character for using his basic PH-given abilities?

Seriously, why don't you just ask the dm what pc he will let you play if you use your abilities effectively.

Archivist or Artificer would be the mean things to do. Binder is cool, if you have the time to process all of word jargon of it.

Melee focused Cleric. Simple, effective. Tell the other PC's that healing happens after battles you've got skulls to bash.
I'm banned from Cleric for badassery.
Soulknife? Paladin? Shadowmage?

Are you actually banned from playing sorcerers? If not, I have some ideas...

Also, what sourcebooks & races are usable?
I'm banned from playing Sorcs. I even on one campaign had free reign on what source to use as well as spells, so I made the most, atleast I thought, gimped Sorc ever, wielding a Full Blade. At the end of that Campaign was when I was banned from using them. I'm allowed PHB only for classes and races.

Why don't you try Healer?
I can't use Miniatures book... BUT since he's allowin an Aasimar in the campaign, and its like a self gimp, he MAY allow it...
Not my fault that wolves can trip.

I apologize for the mega quote but I don't want people to think that I'm ignoring them.
If using your Animal Companion's most basic ability and a level 1 spell creatively is considered bannable shenanigans by your DM, I'm not sure we here can help you.
As someone pointed out, lvl 0. And it was worth a shot asking. You all helped me before ^^
Choose NPC Expert and take Lucid Dreaming and Iajitsu Focus as class skills. Kill people in their sleep or hit them really, really hard when they're not looking.

Name yourself Freddy & make a glove out of knives.
Thats.....not a bad idea actually. And being an npc class its USUALLY not on par with the phb classes so he SHOULDN'T complain too much about that even tho its not phb.

If you want to keep with a outdoorsy feel for your character, what about scout, ranger or barbarian? Or why not just go Fighter?

Your party already has a monk. What else is there?
Monk, rogue, Barbarian, Me (was a druid), and ranger. No arcane is apparently allowed (imma see if I can change his mind tho with Beguiler)

I played Artificer before. It was fun. No one liked EB tho. I also decided to play with them when they wanted an evil only campaign, starting at lvl 1. I learned first hand when I picked it why Incarnate was on that tier list. We ran ONE scenario in that campaign. It ended with me killing the party and having several Incarnum Zombies. Was glorious to me, everyone else hated it and said "no more evil campaigns". lulz

I did. PHB. So I'm seriously considering sitting this one out: not becaue of the limitation tho, he explained that its the world that he's created and magic on the whole as well as the more exotic classes just doesn't exist. Divine does thru the Gods, but that's about it.

He banned me from Factotum. FACTOTUM.You think he will let those slide? lol

I call shenanigans!

If your DM is so limited in creativity and problem solving that you actually have a ban list, which includes core classes from the core book, then move on - find a new DM.

A good DM will learn from their players, encourage role-playing and options, and will not artificially limit a player just because the player did something the DM couldn't react to.

If you have to try this hard to find something allowable, then you are not going to have fun. It is a game, it's supposed to be fun.

Ah, that's a shame. To be fair, I've done some awful things with Factotum. With dagger throwing build with aptitude returning daggers, I had 24 attacks a turn, each with Iaijitsu Focus that I had skillmastery for. But you could play a rogue, use splash weapon for typed sneak attack damage, and UMD for spells.

Bah, nobody can make fun, gimpy Sorcs like I can!

Such as my Mage-Brute...

Truth be told, every class has some "shenanigans" - even Experts.

There is a solution though. Play a character with 3 Wis and 3 Int and roleplay them appropriately. If someone puts a sword in your hand and says "swing" you do it. Otherwise, you just follow whoever is carrying the food & beer.

Better yet, play a parrot, and just say "Shenanigans!" in a really annoying parrot-voice every time someone takes an action.

An anthro parrot battle sorcerer with the infernal sorcerer feat, to be followed by the Infernal Sorcerer Shout feat. Maybe even Improved Unarmed Strike (maybe from multiclassing with OA Shaman).

Polly Mua'Dib will then channel his words into powerful, destructive shouts that fell his foes!

"Polly want a CRACKER!"
