Interesting so many people enjoy fighters. I wonder if its the concept of fighters that are enjoyed (Warlord, Fighter and Swordmage seem to point to this) or if its the actual mechanics of the game that "makes them so good".

considering i don't have access to ddi, i don't know full details about the seeker so I didn't vote for it. However, I like the concept/stuff that i've heard and something tells me it may be high on my list of favorites depending on the crunch when i get to see it.

So, my point is, the fact that seeker (and the psionic classes and assassin) aren't as widely available yet makes them less likely possibilities for votes of favorite right now.

None the less, my top favorite is already gone ( :( )so i've been voting for stuff that is next on my list of likes -- which is hard since i like lots of different classes for different reasons ...

Just so long as it provides decent bonuses to broomstick flying and snitch-spotting I'll be happy.

Meanwhile, I've voted for the Wizard as the class I've had most fun playing.

Given its prominence in (fantasy) literature, I think you can say the concept is popular. 4E mechanics have also given it a boost, as the power system allows these sorts of classes to hold these own with the spell casters.

Of course, I think specific 4E mechanics are also important: the ranger, paladin, and barbarian haven't made it this far. For the fighter, I know one advantage is that there a number of viable "builds", more so then just about any other class.

They lasted long, but the purge of the leaders has finally begun. Well, except for the Warlord of course.

And again, our top six would make a pretty good party.

Staying

fighter 31 21.68%
warlord 26 18.18%
sorcerer 20 13.99%
swordmage 20 13.99%
wizard 18 12.59%
avenger 12 8.39%

Going

bard 8 5.59%
cleric 6 4.20%
