"'Llo again!" Jasper says, waving to the other companions as they file into his field of vision in front of the mayor's home. "Fancy meeting you here," he follows, with his trademark sly wink.

"yes, imagine that." Falryn returns with a wink and a smirk.

"Aye, breakfasts enough. I rose late, though, and had time only for two. Nothing to start what may be a fine day of thieving and otherwise adventuring like good solid helpings of ham and eggs, I always say."

Walking into the govoners (or mayer, if you prefer) house, you are greeted by the man himself.

"Greetings!" says the elderly man, who appears to be in good shape, though the lines of his face and the grey in his hair mark him to be about 65 or even 70. His smile work with his wrinkles, to show that he does so often, though he also has deep worry lines between his eyes on his forhead to mark his place in office, more then likely. "I'm glad that all of you could make it. Please! Follow me. I have tea ready, with some noce cakes that Helna left for us." He starts to work his way through the house to a parlor where cups of gold lined porclin await the party. The mayer pours the tea for the group as he continues to talk. "It seems we have found the pirates alcove that has been horassing us this last year. Well, I'd like to arm you with that information, and ask that you take them out for me. What do you say?" He looks at the group with his ready smile and asks "Honey?"

"No. Money in exchange for the task will be sufficient, thank you. What information do you have on these pirates? Their number? Strength?"

Jasper sits silently, munching on some of the cakes. Sounds like an opportunity to snatch some money, he thinks to himself, sipping on tea in between bites. But the local guild...

"We have a map to thier player, and we guess their number to be about 20. As for thier strength... well, they have only been bothering the merchant vessals to this point, so perhaps not that strong, for they have only bothered humans, which are not the best prepared in the Undersea. Other then that, I can not say." He goes to the desk, and pulls a map out of it and hands it over. On it shows this town, though, on the map, it appears as if the town is an island, and another island beyond a small chain of islands.

"I can have someone take you to the island and then sail away to await a signal,. But nonte of the sailors will go on the island itself. Cursed, you know!"

THe mayer shakes his head and says "I'm no sailor, but from what has been told to me, it's supposed to be the play ground for all the dead sailors of the vast ocean. Hog's wash, I say. Ol' superstition. It should be fine, otherwise, why would the prates stay?"
