Wishes: Slavers could have been neat, I think, as well as the U series.

Failures: Night below:we failed as a party to pick up nearly all of the hooks, and drove the DM to distraction.

[*]The Forest Oracle -- an infamously bad one, for good reason.

Suddenly, I'm thinking that should be the story upon which the next D&D movie should be based. And in order to capture the module's full majesty, extensive use of narrative voice-over (Gilbert Gottfried seems perfect, somehow) for the more incredible passages.

Perhaps as an NPC (Evan the forester maybe?). The narrator job would have to go to someone really good because it would be that much funnier.
Morgan Freeman, John Hurt, or James Earl Jones.

Good point about the narration!

Hey- I just recalled that GG did a HILARIOUS bit on Nostradamus some years ago...perhaps HE should be the Forest Oracle.

Expedition to the Barrier Peaks was the first adventure I ever tried to run. As soon as my players realized it had robots in it, they flat-out refused to enter any further. Then, after an awkward silence, they suggested we go to the beach instead.
Ha - I got all giggly picturing that in my mind!
