Clear Map Grids - Overlays printed with any custom grid, white glows, black shadows - turn maps or tablecloth into an instant battlemap

Arcknight is taking heavy clear plastic, and printing 5-color toner right onto it, so we can use our fantastic grid system from our tabletop roleplaying maps and use it to make Clear Map Grids. This technique lets the grid show up on any background, whether its light or dark, and turns anything you want into a battlemap.
It's ALSO a way to get any type of custom grid you just can't find printed on maps - quarter grid, 1.25" hex, wacky colors, we can do it all. ANY grid, ANY style, ANY colors you want.
Here's a bunch of examples
And here's the kickstarter campaign for more information
Our next big goal is semi-transparent spell sheets; fully artistic with a variety of patterns printed onto this same plastic, so you can cut out fireballs and lightning bolts and whatever you wish, and size it to your edition war. Since they're semi-transparent, you can lay them over the top of minis and gauge the hit area, while still seeing your minis and the map, AND if you need a persistent ground effect like a Wall of Fire, you can slip it UNDER the clear map grid and it'll show up without having to move and knock over all your minis.
As always, we greatly appreciate feedback and sharing!
