I believe there's a scenario out there where you are actually fighting on the back of TCB and it takes quite a while to get from place to place. The mothra description is probably apt though, it's a B-52 bomber not an F-16.
Yeah, I forget what its in-game SIZ is rated at, but at least a couple of sites say it's 20m long with a 90m wingspan and supposedly weighs 1,000 tons, with a "carrying capacity" of 120 human-sized cultists. That's well shy of an actual B-52 in terms of length (just under 50m) but much broader ("only" ~56m), although the bomber's loaded takeoff weight is a mere 220 tons - but of course the B-52 has to obey the laws of aerodynamics where the Clifford the Big Red Bat does not.

For all that I'm poking fun at the silly thing overall, the cover art there does a pretty good job of portraying the sense of scale properly. I'm not crazy enough to try to count them but there could be 120 Bat-Fans clustered around Big Ginger's feet waiting to get accidentally trampled or kicked to their doom.

Much better art than that Apple Lane duck from AvHill there. :) That edition's art was wildly hit-or-miss over its lifespan.

You want good, serious-looking ducks, the ex-Mongoose minis are the best I've seen. Rebel's making them these days under their Darkhold range, so still on the market.

Here's one of the better crimson bat images I've seen. :ROFLMAO: Put "The Lunar Way" on THAT.

Thanks for the info on Hero. The Hero System sourcebooks are traditionally some of the best products for a genre or type of play out there, regardless of rules. I hadn't heard of this one at all.
