Cleric/Rogue Prc?

Taren Seeker

First Post
I'm looking for a good way to combine a Rogue and Cleric. Is there a PrC out there that would suit? Something that gives some spellcasting and rogue type abilities is what I'm interested in.

WotC material is my preferred choice.

Thanks

Some suggestions:

1. Black Flame Zealot from Complete Divine - More sinister and assassin-like with flame-related abilities. Advances sneak attack +1d6/3 levels, 4 skill points, advances clerical spellcasting 1/2 levels.

2. Temple Raider of Olidammara from Complete Divine - More rogueish, advances sneak attack +1d6/3 levels, 4 skill points, does not advance clerical spellcasting but has its own spell list.

3. Skullclan Hunter from Miniatures Handbook - Allows you to sneak attack undead, advances sneak attack +1d6/3 levels, 6 skill points, but does not advance spellcasting.

4. Slayer of Domiel from Book of Exalted Deeds - The Lawful Good assassin. Good sneak attack advancement +1d6/2 levels, 4 skill points, does not advance clerical spellcasting but has its own list.

Tweak the Arcane Trickster a little (trade mage hand requirement for Trickery domain, maybe) and rename it Divine Trickster.

Bam, instant rogue/cleric PrC. Bit light in the pants in the HP department, but otherwise good to go.

Thanee had such a houserules thread. I already commented there that it's too strong ;)

House Rule?

That's actually in the rules, if you go FR. Rogue 3/Cleric of Mystra 11/Arcane Trickster is completely valid per the DMG.

You don't need a PrC to combine the two, however.

Just pick up the Trickery Domain, maybe (if allowed) the feat from Rokugan, which turns TWO cross-class skills into class skills. Get a high Int for skill points.

Then you can just go light on the Rogue levels and heavy on the Cleric levels (i.e. 2/X) and have a perfectly viable Rogue/Cleric.

HERE's an example character of mine, which is essentially just that (3.0 though).

A bit cheesy.
A bit? :D

If you had read that thread of mine, I actually said, that it is kinda weird (especially, that the arcane trickster actually allows divine caster level progression ;)).
