D&D 5E Cleric/sorcerer class interaction

If you have a character that has levels in both Tempest cleric and storm sorcerer how do their special features interact. I know that the spells are separate and the total spell casting slots are found in the multi-classing section. The specific things I am not sure on is: Can you use meta magic on your cleric spells and can you use Channel divinity (and thunderbolt strike) to maximize a lightning spell from your sorcerers list?
I suspect it is yes to both of these, but just wanted to check on other peoples responses.

You can use your channel divinity to maximise your sorcerer spells as the requirement for using it is when you roll lightning or thunder damage. It does not specify the source of the damage, it could even be used when throwing a lightning bolt from a wand of lightning.

Metamagic can be used with your cleric spells, it doesn't state in the metamagic description that it must be a sorcerer spell.

Actually it does state that usable with sorcerer spells or something, just like paladins class ability smite states åaladin spell slots. This however has been overridden by multiclass rules, crawfords tweets. I dont have books on me so i might remember wrong.

Really? It doesn't mention it must be a sorcerer spell in the PHB. I read the relevant section on sorcerers before posting to be sure, granted I haven't checked errata so it could be mentioned in that.

You know what, i tyink i remember the wild sorcerers wild surge ability...

I always read the fluff about meta magic being that it was your innate ability to push your innate (ie sorceror) spell casting beyond 'normal limits', as opposed to 'learned' magic such as that derived from wizard/divine/pact magic.

I rule it personally that 'granted' magic is exempt from your innate meta magic abilities.

Wild magic states it so I figured it was an oversight on dragon blood magic, bearing in mind PHB is written really from the PoV of single classing.

Tomayto, tomato. I prefer the meta for (semi) logical reasons to be just sorc.
