A recent Unearthed Arcana article, Strange Gods, allowed Clerics to swap Healing Word for a new power. I don't recall the details - something along the lines of being able to expend a healing surge to deal that much damage to a nearby enemy, or the like.

It was rather interesting - it changes the cleric from a Leader to a Striker, in a fashion - but is an Unearthed Arcana article. Which means, "experimental", subject to DM approval, etc.

...ah, here is the link: Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game Official Home Page - Article (Strange Gods)

The power is called Subversive Word.

EDIT: NEVER MIND. I thought you said healer's lore but now I realize you said healing word, which completely invalidates what I was attempting to answer.

There is also "Templar’s Domain" feat that lets you swap out healer's lore with a 1st level domain feature from a warpriest... that feat also serves as a prereq to get other feats which further grant a templar cleric (aka PHB1 cleric) with other warpriest features

It's a feat from the "Class Compendium" feats (april 2011 dragon 398) that is available to anyone (not just DDI subscribers).

Sorry about the misread on my part. carry on, nothing to see here.

There is a heroes of shadow spell that replaces a healing word. And to use it the cleric spends a surge. Stupidest idea I heard.
