Option 2 lines up better with the rule. Spells that last one round/level don't layer very well, but the ones that last one minute/level or more can be exploited this way, and it amounts to taking a standard action to dispel instead of casting the spell again.

I'm doing computer stuff for Lion's Gate Films, makers of such blockbusters as Employee of The Month and Saw III. I don't know why they gave me a crackberry unless they expect me to put out fires over the weekend?

Great, now I have to look up what a Blackberry is. Oh, OK, I think I have the idea. Maybe in ten years I will be caught up to today's technology. I think I prefer the lower case blackberry that goes into pies.
