Kaos can breathe in round 509. If, by blindsense, you are referring to the debris thrown up by hovering, Kaos is not big enough to do that.

Round 508: RB steps up next to Kaos, stomping (rolled 22) for 7. Kaos has 100 HP. As she steps back down, Kaos bites her for 6. RB has 30 HP.
Kaos bites for another 9. RB at 21 HP.

Round 509: RB misses all three attacks. Kaos breathes acid for 18. RB at 3. Kaos can breathe in round 511.

Round 510: RB misses with hoof. Kaos hits with AoO for 4. RB is dying. (Yay!) (CR 7?)
Kaos has 100 HP and is at 30N60E10Z.

A huge lizard with eight heads runs to 30N65E. Kaos recognizes it as a hydra, and knows that it has the scent ability, that it heals really fast, its magical beast traits, that it can make a full attack even when charging or moving, and that you can kill it by cutting off its heads one at a time (by sundering with a slashing weapon) and applying fire or acid to the stumps.

"Oh, damn."

Kaos withdraws away and upwards 20ft out of the monsters reach, going back to a hover. Kaos will be at 30N55E30Z. On subsequent rounds, Kaos will resort to confusion gas, hoping that Lady Luck is smiling on her (i.e. failed save, roll 51-70 on the table). Otherwise, we're looking at yet-another-hydra-draw.

Round 510: The hydra misses with AoO (rolled 19).
Round 511: The hydra seems confused (rolled natural 1 Will save). The hydra tries to attack Kaos. Kaos can breathe again in round 514.
Round 512: The hydra is back to its normal snarling self.
Round 514: The hydra is confused again (rolled 15 Will save - good thing it has Iron Will). It sits there waiting for Kaos to come down. Kaos can breathe in round 516.

A draw is declared after round 514.

Round 515: A huge bipedal lizard stomps into the arena to 20N20E. It has a long tail and neck, a big head, and a bulky body. It has short three-fingered forelimbs ending in impressive claws.

Next in round 515 for Chaotic Neutral is a juvenile fang dragon. It has the feats Awaken Spell Resistance, Blind-fight, Improved Initiative, Weapon Focus (claw), and Wingover. It has the maxed out skills Diplomacy, Knowledge (religion), Listen, Search, Sense Motive, and Spot.

Wingover, great. A useful feat for a dragon without a breathe weapon.

Fang IV, significantly larger than his predecessors, flies into the arena to 30N55E30Z and casts shield. Fang IV is ready to rip apart some Neutrals, and his spiky hide, enormous fangs, huge claws, and massive muscles definitely make any opponent nervous.

OOC: Is Fang's bite reach still only 10ft (and claw/wing 5ft) or does he gain 15ft reach (and 10ft) with the Increased Damage?

OOC: His reach is the same. Bigger and sharper mouth and teeth, not longer.

What path did Fang take? The lizard is huge, and might have gotten an AoO.

OOC: I totally missed that there was an opponent in the arena.

Fang IV will still fly in and cast shield, but will come in from the north, entering at 80N and slowly circling around the cloud and gaining altitude until he's at 65N40E30Z, heading southeast. The lizard can probably just see him between the two clouds.

It's not Fang's intent to hide, just not to go through the path of that thing until he's ready.

The crowds grow excited as this promises to be one of the most spectacular and bloody battles yet in the entire Tournament. Two opponents with no means of combat other than claw-to-claw and tooth-to-tooth, and neither likely to flee the arena.

Betting is fierce.
