I'm assuming that you want someone to take neutral for now, so...

A young halfling male skips into the arena at 60N120E. He grins and looks around, hoping to spot the person he's supposed to fight. He sees the female uldra, waves cheerily, and pulls out his crossbow. His smile fades as he works to load a bolt and crank the mechanism back.

The uldra fires at the cheery halfling. Hits! (Rolled 20-2 for long range = 18) 2 points of damage! The halfling has 3 hp left.

I'll assume the halfling had his crossbow loaded when he entered the arena, so he can fire it this round. The bolt misses! (Rolled 12-2 for long range = 10)

Round 41:

The uldra moves to 60N20E and fires. The halfling dodges the arrow! (Rolled 14)

Enter Vick the Vapor Rat

Vick rushes into the arena running all the way up to the halfling at 60N110E (from the west), and then turns into vapor before the formerly cheery halfling's eyes. Vick doesn't want to fight here, so good thing I've kept him very hungry. Nothing like some halfling chops with mint jelly.

Spooked out of his mind, Yao 'fling drops his crossbow, steps to 60N105E, pulls out his sword and hacks.

The halfling would have hit (Rolled 22), but instead his sword passes straight through the rat!

Yao's eyes grow wide with fear.

Vick follows the halfling (move action, if not just a 5ft-step, er 5ft-float), becomes corporeal again and bites viciously. He chitters angrily at the plumpy morsel and if Yao could interpret rodent speak, he would hear "This isn't quite like my cloud home, but you'll make a tasty meal nonetheless."
